Goals from Connall Murtagh and Luke Bowen sealed the victory for Aber over their near rivals. Aber scored mid way through the first half with Murtagh drilling the ball home into the bottom right hand corner from a rebounded shot. The second goal came when Luke Bowen was played through, beating the keeper for an easy finish a quarter of the way through the second half. Newtown did pull a goal back though but there was not enough time to stage a real come back.

Aberystwyth Ladies have got Crannog at home at Padarn's pitch, ko 2.00, and ATFC Lions are playing Sex Panthers on Blan playing fields, 12.00 ko so come down and watch both if you haven't had enough football.

Both are free to get in too and support would be very welcomed.
