Updated 20 Jan : 15:53 by admin
Aberystwyth Town Football Club have today made their second signing of the transfer window by adding former Bangor City and The New Saints forward Carl Lamb to their ranks.

The frontman first appeared on the Welsh Premier stage with Bangor City in March 2005 after joining from Cammell Laird and scored on his debut against Welshpool Town. He played in the Intertoto Cup for the Citizens and transferred to NEWI Cefn Druids in the 2006 close season. He played 18 times for the Druids, scoring ten goals, before his contract was terminated by mutual consent.

He then signed on a non-contract basis for The New Saints on New Years Eve 2006 and made his debut as a sub on January 6th at Farrar Road in the Saints 2-0 victory over Bangor City. Released by the Saints in April 2008, a transfer to Blue Square North side Droylsden then materialized.

He returned to the Welsh Premier League in 2009 with Welshpool Town after being released by Droylsden, and appeared nine times for the Lillywhites before being snapped up by Witton Albion.

The striker has scored 25 goals from 68 (+26) appearances throughout his career in Wales, and all at Aberystwyth Town Football Club are delighted to welcome Carl Lamb on board.
