Goalkeeper

Keryn Hawkins

Pembrokeshire based Keryn started playing at the age of 7, for prendergast stars as a central defender, before moving to camrose and playing as a centre midfielder until the age of 10, before moving into goal. Since then she has played in Haverfordwest chevron academy, kilgetty girls and camrose ladies whilst also being selected for the Pembrokeshire County squad and West Wales Girls Performance Centre. Moved to Aberystwyth Town in 2011.









Defenders

Sian Evans

Local youngster Sian Evans started playing football at the age of 7 with Maes-y-Felin boys. At the age of 10 moved to join Llanilar Juniors and remained with all to way to under 16's before moving to Aberystwyth Ladies this season. Comfortable as a right back or on the right side of midfield, Sian has also been in the North Wales development camps and had a trial with Wales u16












Samantha Gaunt

Centre back with Aberystwyth Town for a number of years. Was on the standby squad for the full Welsh squad in 2012














Samantha Lumb

One of the players who has been with Aberystwyth since the start of the Premier League years.












Lucy Hughes

Lucy started playing football at a very young age through the influence of her Dad, Ray Hughes, the current Ladies team manager. More often than not a right back, before Aberystwyth Lucy had a spell at Penparcau, while as a junior played for Aberystwyth, and Lucy has been chosen for the Ceredigion side. Lucy is taking after her dad too, and is currently beginning to coach under 16's girl around Aberystwyth.







Alice George

Alice started playing at the age of 9 with Llanybydder boys, then moved to Teifi girls at the age of 13, then went to play for the senior ladies side at Llanybydder before moving to Aberystwyth in 2012. Playing as a defender, Alice also was called up to the Welsh Development Squad at the age of 14.












Tania Wylde

Defender Tania started playing football from the age of 6 with her brothers for the local Penparcau Teams. After spending times with the South Wales Regional Squad and Ceredigion Squad while playing for Aberystwyth Ladies, Tania has spent the last five years with Hereford Ladies and Swansea City Ladies, before returning to Aberystwyth in 2012.








Midfielders

Kelly Thomas

Joined Aberystwyth Town Ladies in the 08-09 season as a right winger but was soon converted to centre midfield. A very hard working midfielder, Kelly, based in Llanarth previously played for Crannog and New Quay Ladies, as well as the Ceredigion Ladies squad.











Ffiona Evans

Ffiona Started playing football at a very young age after influence of her father, assistant manager Lyn Evans and brother. Previously was a striker at Newcaste Emlyn but changed to left winger/ left back after joining Aber. Joined Aber Ladies in 2007/2008 season after starting studying Aber Uni to study Sport & Exercise Science. Now currently finishing off Msc Sports Therapy whilst being part of the first team's backroom staff. Also been in the Ceredigion Ladies squad

Melanie Davies

Melanie started playing football at the age of 9 with llanybydder boys, then at 16 moved to play for Felinfach Ladies. Comfortable as a midfielder or a striker, which a prolific strike ratio, Melanie joined Aberystwyth Town Ladies in 2009, and has also played for the Ceredigion Ladies squad/









Gemma Kay

Gemma started playing football at the age of 7 for a local team before moving to Shrewsbury Town's Centre of Excellence. Gemma, a midfielder has also spennt tiime at Bridgnorth and TNS Ladies sides, as well as playing at a county level and having national trials before attending university. Joined Aber Town ladies this season.










Forwards

Stephanie Land

Stephanie, a striker has been with Aberystwyth since under 16's. Also plays for Aber Uni in the BUCS system.















Amy Jenkins

16 year old Amy Jenkins, comes to Aberystwyth with huge potential this season, having played with Penrhyncoch, Llanilar Boys and Shrewsbury Town in the last few seasons. As a striker Amy has also spent time with the North Wales Development Squad.
