200 Club
PAYBACK TIME FOR ABER TOWN SUPPORTERS
Aberystwyth Town supporters now have the opportunity to win money every month by supporting their football club. A new 200 club launched this week gives fans the chance to win £400 each month as well as contributing to the club and to local charities.
Joining the club will cost just one pound a week and a draw will be made during a home match to decide who the lucky winners are. There will be two additional draws each season with £500 up for grabs each time and at the end of every season £1000 will be donated to a local charity from the fund.
Aberystwyth Town manager, Alan Morgan, believes the 200 club is an excellent way of giving something back to the loyal supporters,
“I knew before coming to Aberystwyth how fervent the support was here and how loyal the fans are. Throughout Ceredigion they follow the club through thick and thin and this is an opportunity to give something back to them. We are aiming for 200 members originally but hopefully we can reach 500 members – that will mean more prizes and more money going to charity.”
The money invested will not go directly to the club’s coffers but to a separate account and supporters will decide at the end of the season where the money will be spent to improve the club. Application forms are available to download on the website at www.atfc.org.uk or at any home game. The first draw is due to be made in October.

CYFLE I GEFNOGWYR ABER ENNILL
Mae gan gefnogwyr tim peldroed Aberystwyth y cyfle i ennill arian bob mis drwy gefnogi eu tim lleol. Mae clwb 200 newydd gaiff ei lansio wythnos hon yn rhoi cyfle i ennill £400 y mis yn ogystal â chyfrannu i’r clwb ac i elusennau lleol.
Bydd ymuno â’r clwb yn costio ond punt yr wythnos a bydd tynfa yn cael ei wneud yn ystod gem gartref er mwyn penderfynu pwy yw’r enillwyr lwcus. Bydd dwy dynfa ychwanegol bob tymor gyda £500 i’w ennill bob tro ac ar ddiwedd bob tymor bydd £1000 yn cael ei gyfrannu tuag at elusen lleol o’r gronfa.
Mae Alan Morgan, rheolwr tim peldroed Aberystwyth, yn credu fod y clwb 200 yn ffordd wych o roi rhywbeth yn ôl i gefnogwyr ffyddlon,
“Ro’n i’n gwybod cyn dod i Aberystwyth pam mor gryf oedd y gefnogaeth yma a pha mor ffyddlon mae’r cefnogwyr. Mae cefnogwyr ar draws Ceredigion yn dilyn y clwb drwy ddwr a thân ac mae hwn yn gyfle i roi rhywbeth yn ôl iddyn nhw. Ryn ni’n anelu am 200 aelod i gychwyn ond gobeithio y gallwn gyrraedd 500 aelod – bydd hynny’n golygu mwy o wobrau a mwy o arian yn mynd i elusennau.”
Ni fydd yr arian gaiff ei fuddsoddi yn mynd yn uniongyrchol i goffrau’r clwb ond i gyfrif ar wahan a bydd cefnogwyr yn penderfynu ar ddiwedd y tymor ar beth ddylid gwario’r arian er mwyn gwella’r clwb.
