Aber 3rds won 4-1 against Llanrhusted in Cambrian Tyres League Division 1.

Goals came from Player manager Stan Richards, player/assistant Barry Rowlands and Dan Sears x2.

Aberystwyth Town Welcome 3rds Manager

Steven (Stan) Richards has joined Aberystwyth Town from Penrhyncoch reserves to be manager of the 3rd team with a view of bringing an assistant in. He has a track record at developing young players.

Aberystwyth Town 3rds play in the Cambrian League Division 1.

Aber Looking For More Structure

The club is hoping to confirm a management team for the third team which has won the Cambrian Tyres League Division 2 without losing a game thus achieving promotion to the first division of the Cambrian Tyres League.

The promotion of the third team means that, with the established reserve team, the club is ideally placed to absorb the introduction of the new One Player, One Club rule which comes in to force next season. It will allow a seamless progression from the Academy system to senior football and assist the club to support the first team squad in the Welsh Premier whilst also pursuing its policy of progressing young locally based players.
