Antonio Corbisiero’s first home match since his return as Aberystwyth Town Manager is a Nathaniel MG Cup Semi-Final against Cardiff City’s u21 side, which presents Aber with an opportunity of reaching the final of this competition for the first time since its inception in 1992. Aberystwyth Town compete in their first national semi Finals for five years on Saturday afternoon, when they host Cardiff City U21s in the MG Nathaniel Cup Semi Final at Park Avenue (ko 2.30pm). Sadwrn/Saturday 23 Tachwedd/November Met Caerdydd/Cardiff Met 3 Tref Aberystwyth Town 0 Collodd Aber o dri gol i ddim i ffwrdd i Met Caerdydd ddoe, canlyniad creulon iawn o ystyried cydbwysedd y gem. Ar ol hanner gyntaf cadarnhaol iawn, agorodd Lewis Rees y sgorio dwy funud mewn i’r ail hanner ac yna goliau hwyr Tom Vincent (82 munud) a Matt Chubb (83 munud) sicrhaodd y fuddugoliaeth i’r myfyrwyr. Aber fell victims of successive set piece moves, falling to a three goal defeat away to Cardiff Met yesterday which on the balance of play was an extremely harsh scoreline. After a very positive first half Lewis Rees gave the students the lead from a free kick two minutes into the second stanza, then Tom Vincent (82 mins) and Matt Chubb (83 mins) secured the win for the Archers. Antonio Corbisiero’s first task as returning Manager is an away match at Cardiff Met Uni, which takes place this Saturday in the capital.
