 Mae CPD Tref Aberystwyth yn falch iawn o gyhoeddi dychweliad Louis Bradford i'r clwb ar gyfer y tymor i ddod -- ei 5ed flwyddyn mewn Gwyrdd a Du! Aberystwyth Town Football Club is delighted to confirm the return of Louis Bradford for the upcoming season -- his 5th year in Black and Green! Wolverhampton-born Louis joined TNS Academy at U15 level following time with Shrewsbury Town Academy in his youth. Progressing through the Saints Academy, Louis impressed at Park Hall to earn a move within the JD Cymru Premier at 18-years-old to gain valuable senior minutes, first joining Town in September 2020. Louis immediately became a key contributor thanks to his flexibility and ability in defence, making 26 appearances and scoring twice in his first season. Returning on-loan for the 2021/22 season, Louis made a further 30 appearances and scored four across all competitions -- including a crucial winning goal away at Haverfordwest County in April 2022 with Town later maintaining their Top-Flight status for a 30th consecutive year away at Barry Town. Louis joined again on an initial six-month loan for the 2022/23 season before making the move permanent following his release from TNS in January 2023 and has been a stalwart of the team thereafter. Last season, Louis featured in every minute of Town's 36 games across all competitions, adding one goal to his tally -- the crucial opener on the final day of the season at home to relegated Pontypridd United, with a bullet header to the far corner in front of a jubilant Dias Stand. Still just 22-years-old, Louis has amassed an impressive 122 appearances in Black and Green over four seasons with 10 goals to his name, and his return to the heart of the defence for a 5th season is sure to delight the Green Army! Manager Anthony Williams commented: "We're delighted to retain Bradders for this season as a player who's been with us for a long time and has racked up a huge amount of games for the Club. He's an ever-present in our team who's a top class defender and leader in the squad bringing that strength, desire, and experience. He was offered contracts from other teams in the league; however, he sees what we've got here and how we're trying to develop to push onto bigger and better things.
