Prawf cyntaf Rheolwr newydd Aber Antonio Corbisiero yw gem bant i Brifysgol Met Caerdydd, brynhawn Sadwrn yn y brifddinas.

Antonio Corbisiero’s first task as returning Manager is an away match at Cardiff Met Uni, which takes place this Saturday in the capital.

Corbs returns to the club having led Aber between 2021-2022, recording a comfortable 8th place finish in 2022 before departing that summer. In his first spell, his highlights included a Welsh Cup Quarter Final and a memorable 1-0 victory over The New Saints at Aberystwyth University Park Avenue.
 
He will once again be joined in the dugout by Black and Green legend Bari Morgan, and Town supporters are rightly excited to see how the new management team will influence the squad moving forward.
 
Saturdays opposition have had a solid start to the season so far and currently sit in 4th place in the league with 25 points from 16 games, thanks to 7 wins and 4 draws. Eliot Evans and Ryan Reynolds are their top scorers; with four goals each. Met come into this fixture having with two wins, two draws and a defeat from their last 5 league matches. Last week, they exited the Welsh Cup at the hands of The New Saints.
 
This has proved to be a difficult fixture for Aber of late, with Met winning the six out of the last eight meetings, stretching back to 2021. However, with the new Management team now in place, coupled with Aber’s upturn of form of late, there is plenty of reasons for optimism going into this fixture!
