Aber Town's pre-season continues this Saturday with the visit of JD Cymru South outfit Llanelli Town. Anthony Williams has already added exciting forward Devon Torry to his squad on loan from Newtown this week and is expected to take a look at a number of trialists again in Saturday's match, as he did during last week’s narrow friendly defeat to Northern Premier League champions Radcliffe FC. The visitors are familiar opposition; having spent many seasons in the Cymru Premier as both Llanelli AFC and Llanelli Town, winning the title back in 2008. They are now led by Lee John; best known for his time at Port Talbot Town in the 2000s when the Steelmen were regulars in the top echelons of the then Welsh Premier League. Last season, they finished second in the JD Cymru South, 7 points behind eventual champions Briton Ferry Llansawel. The Steelmen have strengthened this summer with plenty of new additions. James Dolman, Joe Lloyd, Lewis Iles, Taylor Jones, Alex Giardelli and Bradley Gibbings are all part of the new cohort but perhaps the most eye catching signings are those of former Newtown and Barry Town United midfielder Theo Wharton and former Haverfordwest, Bala Town and Penybont attacker Henry Jones. Season ticket will be on sale at the ground on Saturday at the bargain price of £80 for Adults and £50 for Over 65s. Admission prices for Saturdays friendly at Aberystwyth University Park Avenue will be £5 for adults and £3 for concessions, and £1 for Secondary School Age kids.
