Cwpan MG Nathaniel Cup Rownd/Round 3 Tuesday/Mawrth 17 Medi/September (CG/KO 8yh/pm) Tref Aberystwyth Town v Llandudno Mae Tref Aber yn dychwelyd i Goedlan y Parc am tri gem gartref yn olynol yr wythnos hon, yn dechrau gyda gem Wyth Olaf Rhan Gogleddol Cwpan y Gynghrair yn erbyn Llandudno o’r Cymru North nos Fawrth. Aber Town return to Park Avenue for three consecutive home games this week, starting with a League Cup Northern Quarter Final at home to Cymru North side Llandudno on Tuesday evening The Black and Greens reached the Third Round courtesy of an impressive 2-0 win at Colwyn Bay in August, while Llandudno beat Newport County’s youth side 3-0, and Guilsfield on penalties after a 2-2 draw to get to this stage.
Anthony Williams’ team is in need of a pick up after four consecutive defeats – three of which were away from home, but at home they will feel confident of getting a result which could put Town into the League Cup Northern Semi Finals in October. Llandudno have had a difficult start to the Cymru North season. They did beat Penrhyncoch 3-0 at Maesdu Park, but that is their only win in their opening 8 League games and they find themselves second bottom of the table as things stand. Nevertheless they do have some firepower going forward, having signed Black and Green favourite Mark Cadwallader in the summer. Alex Boss, who also represented Town is a dangerous winger and Mike Jones and Anthony Stephens are both players who will be familiar to followers of the Cymru Prem. Matchday tickets are available by cash or card at the turnstiles. Admission prices at Aberystwyth University Park Avenue for 2024/5 are set at £8 for adults, £5 for concessions, £2 for Secondary School age kids, and Primary School and younger are free.
