Nathaniel MG Cup Semi-Finalists Aber Town return home to Aberystwyth University Park Avenue on Sunday lunchtime and welcome current JD Cymru Premier Champions, The New Saints.

A superb performance in Flintshire ensured that Aber reached their first Semi-Final in five years on Tuesday night, with all those of a Black and Green persuasion now early awaiting Monday’s draw, which could see the Seasiders paired with either Sunday’s opponents or Bala Town, Barry Town United or wildcard entrants Cardiff City.
 
The New Saints are of course representing Wales in European competition this season and they earned a famous victory over Kazakh outfit Astana FC at Shrewsbury Town’s Croud Meadow last night by two goals to nil, a result which incidentally also ensured the Cymru Prem will have four European qualifiers in season 2026/27. Their league form is unusually inconsistent however, and they currently sit in third place, albeit having played three games fewer than everyone else.
 
They come into this match having won three on the bounce domestically, including a 16-0 demolition of Llangollen Town in the Welsh Cup last weekend. Summer signing Sion Bradley is their top goal scorer with 6 goals to his name so far, whilst Aramide Oteh and Jordan Williams have 4 goals each.
 
There will be some familiar faces in the opposition line-up this weekend. Goalkeeper Connor Roberts spent two years on loan at Park Avenue between 2019 and 2021, whilst Ben Woollam and Jake Canavan both had loan spells in Black and Green last season.
 
Matchday tickets are available by cash or card at the turnstiles. Admission prices at Aberystwyth University Park Avenue for 2024/5 are set at £8 for adults, £5 for concessions, £2 for Secondary School age kids, and Primary School and younger are free.
