Aber Town Matchday Programme "The Seasider" Wins Cymru Prem Silver Medal

Aberystwyth Town Football Club is delighted to learn that the official matchday programme, ‘The Seasider’ has been placed 5th overall in Wales and 2nd in the Cymru Premier in this season’s Non League Soccer Swap Club Shop’s annual awards.
 
The longstanding magazine, currently edited by Media Officer Matthew Wallace, has returned to its true physical form this season following a season of digital only copies during the 2020/21 season which was played behind closed doors.
 
'The Seasider' was pipped to the post by Cardiff Met’s matchday programme and placed ahead of Newtown’s and Bala Town’s in third and fourth respectively in the Cymru Premier.
 
Mid Wales outfit Barmouth and Dyffryn United took the top spot whilst former Welsh Cup opponents Cwmamman United and Ardal North West side Porthmadog joined The Archers and the Black and Greens in completing the top 5.
 
Editor Wallace told atfc.org.uk this afternoon, “I had no idea this type of competition ran so it was a pleasant surprise when I was told about it. It's fantastic to see that people still enjoy a matchday programme. I’m grateful to our fantastic media team, Colin Ewart, Y Lolfa & Y Clwb Pel Droed amongst a few for their help composing the publication and of course everyone who buys and reads the magazine every match day.”
