"Aberystwyth Town Football Club is responsible for setting standards and values to apply throughout the club at every level. Football belongs to and should be enjoyed by everyone, equally. Our commitment is to confront and eliminate discrimination whether by reason of sex, sexual orientation, race, nationality, ethnic origin, colour, religion or disability.
"Equality of opportunity at Aberystwyth Town Football Club means that in all our activities we will not discriminate or in any way treat anyone less favourably, on grounds of sex, sexual orientation, race, nationality, ethnic origin, colour, religion or disability."
The Club also takes positive action to combat inequalities by promoting and supporting the campaigns of organisations such as Show Racism The Red Card, as well as working with SRTRC to host Schools events at the Football Club, the last of which happened in March 2019. The Club also hosts women's, girls and disability teams.
Serious allegations of racist abuse have been made in the public domain and we hope and believe that any guilty parties will be identified and punished through the Courts of Law or the FAW's due disciplinary process.
Finally the Club has been liasing with Dyfed Powys Police and the FAW to ensure that the FAW Trophy Cup Final is appropriately policed and stewarded, and we remind all those attending that any incidences of abuse will result in immediate ejection from the ground. Any such incidences will also be reported to the appropriate Authorities for investigation and if necessary pursued through disciplinary or legal due process.
