The free event will represent a highpoint of the Club's work with the Community, and traditionally attracts between 250-300 additional supporters through the gate for a high profile Dafabet Welsh Premier League match. The home game with Llandudno on Sunday, October 23rd will be Aber's second ever league match on Park Avenue's new 3G pitch.
The event will consist of a number of activities on the 3G and around the ground to entertain and amuse supporters of all ages, but particularly children and families.
Penalty shoots out with our Club Mascot Sami the Seagull have proven very popular in the past, as have informal Football Coaching Sessions ran by our Academy Staff.
Fun Football, aimed at the younger age group, will also be showcased as will Disability Football, which will be co-delivered by our Aber Stars Club and the FAW Trust (please note that the Club encourages all those who wish to participate in 3G Sessions to wear moulded studs).
This all acts as a build up to the Main Event, a Dafabet Welsh Premier League match against Llandudno, and those attending the 3G Family Open Day are of course allowed to remain within the ground free of charge to watch it.
The kick off time for this game is at 3pm and the Family Fun Day begins at 11.30am. Please keep an eye on Town's website atfc.org.uk, twitter @aberystwythtown, Youtube Channel, "Green Army" Facebook page or the local press for more details closer to the event.
Consider yourself invited on October 23rd and we look forward to meeting you and your family!
