PREVIEW: NEWTOWN AFC (H)
Preparations for the 2026/27 season begin on Saturday, with the Black & Greens hosting mid-Wales neighbours Newtown in the first preseason friendly of Summer 2026. ATFC Manager Craig Williams has had a busy summer so far, with no less than 9 new arrivals already walking through the famous Park Avenue gates. 11 players have been retained from last season, whilst 12 have departed. Key signatures include the permanent return of talisman Jonny Evans, the versatile Liam Walsh


MEN'S SQUAD UPDATE
Following a busy few weeks behind-the-scenes, Aberystwyth Town Football Club are pleased to provide a full squad update ahead of the Club's first preseason fixture this coming Saturday 27th at Aberystwyth University Park Avenue, welcoming Newtown AFC. HARRY'S HOMECOMING!
Aberystwyth Town Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of standout defender and former Club Captain of Caersws FC, Harry Cottam. Machynlleth-native Harry progressed through the Black and Greens' youth ranks and was a standout performer, and later skipper, for the Under-19s; during which time he formed a formidable partnership with Lee Jenkins, who has since ascended to the English Football League.
