The John Charles Lounge is a spacious and modern clubhouse facility at Park Avenue, named in honour of Welsh footballing legend and long-time friend of Aberystwyth Town Football Club. Following a complete overhaul after a fire in 2004 and a further refurbishment in 2016, the Lounge now stands as a flexible, stylish venue suitable for a wide range of events.

Simply fill out the form below and one of our members of staff will be on hand to help create the perfect event for you. We serve alcohol on site so please note that will require ID at the bar for anyone that doesn't look over 25, this applies to all events and functions.
The lounge can comfortably accommodate up to 130 guests seated or 260 standing, with various room layouts available to suit your event.
A variety of catering options are available, including in-house packages or the flexibility to bring your own caterers. For a more premium experience, optional waitress service is available directly to your guests.
The venue also features wall-mounted flat-screen TVs, ideal for presentations or live sports, and door security for private functions to ensure everything runs smoothly.
