ATWFC: MEGAN BOWEN JOINS THE SEASIDERS
Aberystwyth Town Women FC are delighted to announce the signing of goalkeeper Megan Bowen on loan from The New Saints for the 2026/27 season.
The 18-year-old joins the Seasiders having developed through some of North Wales' leading player development pathways, spending time with Connah's Quay Nomads and the FAW Girls Academy North before progressing to The New Saints.
A talented young goalkeeper with an excellent reputation, Meg is regarded as a commanding presence between the posts and arrives at Park Avenue eager to continue her development in senior football.
Women’s First Team Manager Rhys Jon James has plenty of positives to say regarding our new recruit:
"I am delighted to have Meg join us. She's a top talent who's clearly hungry to improve and develop her game. She's a great shot-stopper, has a real presence between the posts and has already shown she's a great personality to have in and around the dressing room. I am really excited to be working with her this season."
