PREVIEW: GUILSFIELD (A)

Black and Green fans have had the opportunity to cast their eyes over a number of new signings so far, with the likes of Desean Martin, Star Mayemba and Sam Paddock catching the eye alongside a number of local players and academy products.

The Guils are well established in the Cymru North and have had several very good seasons in recent times, consistently finishing in the upper reaches of the second tier and producing players who have gone on to have excellent careers in the Cymru Premier; Adam Davies, Sam Litchfield and Iwan Lewis are just a few examples who have represented Aber after featuring for Tuesday’s hosts.

Last season, Guilsfield finished 6th in the JD Cymru North, securing 13 wins and 6 draws from their 30 games and finishing two places higher than the previous season. They are managed by former ATFC striker and manager, Gavin Allen, who took over from Matt Burton mid-way through last season.

Guilsfield's Clos Mytton home is now called the PRS Recruitment Stadium and can be found by following postcode SY21 9ND.
