Aberystwyth Town Women make the trip south to face Swansea City Women in Round 3 of the Genero Adran Premier.

The Seasiders will look to test themselves against one of the league’s most consistent sides, with the aim of building on their opening fixtures and continuing their early season development. The Seasiders are two wins from two games at the start of this season and are looking to cause an upset again this weekend.
Swansea City Women got off to a great start with a 4-0 win over Barry Town on the opening day of the season. Last weekends fixture against Pontypridd United Women was abandoned at 62nd minute mark due to a waterlogged pitch at Llandarcy. Historically, matches against Swansea are always a strong challenge, but Aber’s mix of resilience and attacking quality means they will be eager to take something from this clash.
One to Watch – Aberystwyth Town Women: Rebecca Mathias (Sponsored by Bryn Villa Holiday Cottage) – An ever present and determined presence in defence, her ability to read the game and drive the team forward could be key away from home.
One to Watch – Swansea City Women: Ellie Lake – A returning player who is a proven winner with the Swans, her experience and attacking threat from defence will provide Swansea with extra fire power.
