PREVIEW: SWANSEA CITY WOMEN (H)

Aberystwyth Town Women host Swansea City Women in Round 8 of the Genero Adran Premier.

After facing the Swans earlier in the campaign, the Seasiders will look to show their growth and make Park Avenue a difficult ground for the visitors. Last time out, Swansea edged the result with a 2-0 victory. However, Rhys Jon James has had considerably more time on the training ground in preparation for this fixture. For Aberystwyth, this home game offers an opportunity. Their resilience, fight for every ball mentality and home advantage give them a platform to test Swansea and show progression. Swansea’s technical quality is well known; Aber will need to be on top form against an in-form Swansea side.

One to Watch – Aberystwyth Town Women: Sioned Kersey (Sponsored by: Dawn Mason Ling and John Anthony Richards) – A young and emerging talent with lightning pace, she could be the difference-maker in a tight contest.

One to Watch – Swansea City Women: Chloe Chivers – A creative midfielder/attacker who pulls the strings, she is capable of unlocking defences with one pass.
