After back-to-back wins and clean sheets, Aberystwyth Town return to JD Cymru South action this Saturday at Aberystwyth University Park Avenue, with Ynyshir Albions the visitors.

Callum McKenzie’s side had to dig deep last weekend to secure victory. The Black and Greens were the better side throughout, but on a tricky surface chances were at a premium until Jonathan Evans produced a moment of magic 25 minutes from time. From then on, the defence stood firm to ensure the three points headed back to Ceredigion.
As shown earlier in the season, this team have the ability to grind out results, and that quality will be vital as ATFC look to establish themselves in the upper reaches of the JD Cymru South table.
Ynyshir Albions are competing in only their second-ever season at this level. They previously spent a single campaign in the division in 2022/23, before winning the Ardal Leagues playoffs this May thanks to a superb run of 10 wins in 11 games that sealed their place back in the South.
A relatively young club, founded in 1992, the Albions are based in the village of Ynyshir in the Rhondda Valley.
It has been a challenging start to life back in the JD Cymru South for “The Buns,” who currently sit 15th in the table with 5 points. However, they did spring a surprise back in August by beating Pontypridd United away from home to record their only win of the campaign so far.
More recently, they were beaten by in-form Trefelin BGC, having been knocked out of the Welsh Cup by a resurgent Cwmbran Town the previous week.
🎟️ Tickets: Adults £7, Concessions £5, while primary school children and junior league players go free. ATFC are also offering a £2 discount on adult digital tickets purchased in advance.
Come and join us at Park Avenue to see if ATFC can make it three wins in a row!
