BROTHERS IN BLACK AND GREEN: CROESO, LEO!

Aberystwyth Town FC are pleased to welcome midfielder Leo Thompson to the Club from JD Cymru Premier champions The New Saints' academy. Younger brother of Town's standout shot-stopper Reece, 17-year-old Leo joins the Black and Greens to bolster Craig Williams' midfield options.

Shrewsbury-born Leo developed through the ranks at AFC Telford United before joining The New Saints in August 2024, shortly after his 16th birthday. In his first season at Park Hall, he made 26 appearances between the Saints' Development and Reserve sides, scoring 10 goals and providing 10 assists.

Leo continued his fine scoring and creating records this season to date having notched 4 goals and 6 assists in 13 games between the FAW National Academi North Development League and FAW Youth Cup.

With an oppportunity now to step into senior football for the first time, Leo switches Green and White for Green and Black!
