SQUAD UPDATE: JONATHAN EVANS

Aberystwyth Town FC can announce that, on his request, Jonathan Evans will be released from his registration at Aberystwyth Town with immediate effect.

Last season, Jonathan scored ten goals from 21 games for the Black and Greens in the Novira Cymru South and renewed his registration for the 2026/27 season just last month, before requesting his release this week.

Preparations for the season otherwise continue as Craig Williams' squad welcome CPD Llanuwchllyn to Aberystwyth University Park Avenue on Saturday for their final preseason match – kick-off at 14:30.
