Manager:Ian Hughes Manager Ian Hughes is in his fourth season as part of the coaching set up at Park Avenue, having been Assistant Manager for both Alan Morgan and Tomi Morgan. Angelsey born Ian is one of the youngest coaches in Wales to have achieved the UEFA A licence standard, achieving it at just 24 years of age. Ian was formerly Academy Director and Assistant Manager of Llangefni Town, and helped them to lift the Cymru Alliance in 2010, although they were unable to take part in the Welsh Premier, with the club failing to achieve the club licencing criteria. As well as more experience at Wrexham’s Academy in the past, Ian has been based with the FAW Trust for the last four years, and In his role as a coach and player development officer has run courses on Advanced Coach Education, as well as managing Central Wales in the Cymru Cup.
Since his appointment as Manager of Aberystwyth Town FC in May 2013 the Club has enjoyed a renaissance period, reaching the Welsh Cup Final in his first season, and representing Wales in the UEFA Europa League, finishing fourth and reaching the UEFA Europa League Play Off Final in May 2015. The attacking brand of football Hughes encourages, has treated Black and Greens supporters to 140 goals in two seasons, and has lead to a 37% increase in attendances at Park Avenue, ensuring Aber are now the second best supported side in the WPL in all competitions, with an average gate of 458 in 2014/5.
Assistant Manager:Wyn Thomas Llandysul born Wyn Thomas is in his third season and his second spell at the club, after joining from Llanelli in 2011. Wyn made his Welsh Premier League debut for Aberystwyth Town in 1996, under Meirion Appleton, but after 2 seasons left for Carmarthen Town. Over the next five years Wyn was a regular starter at Richmond Park, before he moved again in 2003 to Haverfordwest. After 3 seasons at Haverfordwest Wyn moved to Llanelli where he stayed for the next five years, in that time winning the league, League Cup and Welsh Cup with the Reds, as they qualified for Europe most seasons. Wyn has also been awarded internationally, being called up for the Welsh Schoolboys, Welsh Colleges and Welsh Semi Pro squads. Wyn has made over 500 appearances in the Welsh Premier League and was asked by new manager Ian Hughes to become Assistant Manager for the 2013/14 season.
First Team Coach:Antonio Corbisiero Antonio joined Aberystwyth Town in January 2013, having won the Welsh Premier League, the Welsh Cup and the League Cup during his seven years with Llanelli. He also played in the Champions League, UEFA Cup and the Europa League with the club he skippered and in total, scored 15 goals from 206 (+10) Welsh Premier appearances. Antonio moved to the area before signing, and his calmness and quality on the ball helped Aber to safety in his first season. In the Summer of 2013 Corbs was made first team Coach, alongside running the U16 Academy squad, and in two and a half seasons in Black and Green has gone on to play in the Welsh Cup Final in May 2014, and the UEFA Europa League in 2014/5. Corbs has made 64 WPL appearances for the Black and Greens, scoring once, and 280 WPL appearances in all (including 16 goals) since joining Llanelli in 2005. He has also played for Newport County. Primarily a midfielder who can also play at right back or on the wing, Antonio's work rate on the pitch is second to none and he is an excellent example to the Young Players he coaches at the Academy.
Club Matchday Physio: Ffiona Evans A popular and reassuring presence on Matchdays, Ffiona has been Club Physio for a number of years at Park Avenue. LUBAS Qualified, she has recently opened her own Physiotherapy Practice in Aberystwyth, known as FE Sports Therapy. Hailing from Rhos near Llandysul, Ffiona is a stalwart and Captain of Aber Town Ladies' side, and as such an integral part of the Club.

Name: Mike Lewis Squad Number: 1 Position: Goalkeeper Mike has matured into one of the most highly respected goalkeepers in the Welsh Premier League, and has the knack of pulling off astonishing saves at key times. His stops have on a number of occasions kept Aber in crucial games they have subsequently gone on to win, and as such he is a highly prized member of the Squad. He was brought to Park Avenue by then Manager Tomi Morgan in June 2012, and in his first season conceded only 29 goals in 22 games, making a huge contribution to keeping Aber in the Welsh Premier League. The following season he helped Aber to a Welsh Cup Final, and last term he represented the Black and Greens in the UEFA Europa League, and was an almost ever present in the side which finished Fourth and reached the UEFA Europa League Play Off Final. He also won the Welsh Cup Player of the Round after saving three penalties in Aber's Fourth Round victory in Holywell in February. Cardiff-based Mike, who holds a Masters Degree in Sports Management from the University of South Wales, had previously spent two seasons at Carmarthen Town, where he won Supporters Player of the Year, Afan Lido and Newport County, and was at Swansea City as a Youngster. He is also a Goalkeeping Coach who until recently worked at Cardiff City's Academy. Mike has made 141 WPL Appearances in five seasons, 81 of them for the Black and Greens.

Name: Cledan Davies Squad Number: 3 Position: Defender Tregaron born Cledan returned to the club in June 2012 after a season away. Signed in 2009 from Tregaron Turfs after impressing then Aberystwyth Town boss Brian Coyne, left footed Cledan, happy at left back or as a left winger, became an important part of the team during his first season at the club. After being out with an ankle injury for most of the 2010/11 season, and finding his first team chances limited, Cledan spent time on loan at Penrhyncoch before signing for Tomi Morgan at Carmarthen in 2011. After starting most games and showing his worth at Carmarthen, Tomi wasted no time in bringing Cledan back to his local Welsh Premier team for the new season, and in his first season back, won Supporter's Player of the Year. Davies was an ever present in 2013/4 and was an integral part of the side which reached the Welsh Cup Final. Last season he represented the Black and Greens in the UEFA Europa League, and achieved a Top Four finish with Ian Hughes' men. Cledan is known for his swashbuckling attacking runs down the left flank, pinpoint crosses and occasional brilliant strikes, however one of his most memorable contributions last season was a 45 minute cameo in goal in October, when he produced one astonishing left handed save in the rain to keep a clean sheet at home to Newtown. Now aged 25, Cledan has made 154 WPL appearances, scoring 10 goals along the way.

Name:Ross Stephens Squad Number: 4 Position: Midfielder Aberystwyth Town FC were delighted to confirm the retention of left footed midfielder Ross Stephens for 2015/6. Ross rejoined Aber in January 2015 from Prestatyn Town, and made an instant impact scoring a Goal of the Month Contender against Newtown with a stunning left footed volley in his first game back at the club. He made 7 WPL Appearances for Town last season scoring twice, set up two goals in the UEFA Europa League Play Off Semi Finals win over Gap Connah's Quay, and also played in the Final against Newtown. Ross received national publicity that week as the Final took place the day after his wedding to Chealsey, at which his Best Man was Town Midfielder Chris Venables. 30 year old Ross had joined Prestatyn from Newtown in June 2010, making the Seasiders his sixth Welsh Premier League club at the age of 25, and he enjoyed a succesful time at Bastion Gardens including a Welsh Cup Final victory in 2013 and a four game UEFA Europa League run a few months later. He had joined Newtown in the summer of 2009 after leaving Aber, having made 13 (+3) appearances for the Seasiders. Stephens scored a creditable five goals in his first spell in Black and Green, but was cup-tied for Aber's Welsh Cup run, which affected his chances at Park Avenue. Stephens had joined Aber in January 2009 after a successful spell at Welshpool, having joined In 2007 after playing 14 matches and scoring 1 goal for Rhyl. He became John Hulse's first signing of 2007 when he joined the Lilywhites from Caersws in January after a number of excellent performances for the Bluebirds. Ross, signed permanently for Micky Evans' Caersws in June 2005, after a loan spell at the Recreation Ground in 2003. The Llanidloes-born player was released by Shrewsbury at the end of the 2004/05 season after a loan period at Redditch United. He is a talented player with excellent passing and dribbling ability and also has a strong eye for goal. Ross has carved out an excellent reputation in the WPL, having scored 78 goals in 309 appearances, and everyone at Park Avenue is delighted that he is staying at Park Avenue.

Name: Stuart Jones (Club Captain) Squad Number: 5 Position: Defender Stuart was a rock in the Centre of Defence last season as the Black and Greens managed an excellent fourth placed finish. Coveted by many, Stuart received six nominations from rival Managers for last year's WPL Team of the Season, and his retention is a major boost to Manager Ian Hughes as he plans for the 2015/6 season. Based in Borth, Stuart Jones signed for his local Welsh Premier League club in May 2012, and took on the role of Club Development Officer alongside his playing duties. Stuart began his career at Swansea City, and although he made over 30 appearances for the Swans between 2003 and 2005, moved on at the end of the 2004/05 season. Llanelli made no hesitation in making Stuart their first full time signing for over 50 years, and over the next 7 years made almost 200 appearances for the side and in that time at the club won the League, League Cup and Welsh Cup and qualified for Europe on several occasions. Stuart has also earned caps for both the Wales Under 21’s and the Welsh Semi Pro squads, and has been named in the Welsh Premier Team of the Year on no less than 4 occasions. Since joining Aber three seasons ago Stuart has made 90 appearances in Black and Green, scoring six times including a vital header at TNS towards the end of the season. Overall he has made 288 WPL appearances, scoring 20 goals. It is telling, and quite remarkable that none of these appearances have been as a substitute.

Name: Lee Surman Squad Number: 6 Position: Defender Lee Surman is another key signing for the Black and Greens. An influential and inspirational Central Defender, he is sure to strengthen Town's defensive unit next season. A major figure at the Genquip, Lee re-joined Port Talbot Town in January 2013 after 18-months away from the club with Llanelli. He had joined Llanelli from Port Talbot Town in June 2011 after seven seasons at the GenQuip Stadium, and in his previous spell at Town, Surman became a leading figure in helping the club achieve European qualification and finish runner-up in the Welsh Cup. He is widely regarded as one of the league's finest defenders and brings with him a wealth of experience and leadership skills. A former Swansea City apprentice , he is a Wales Under-23 and full semi-professional international, who skippered the Welsh team on several occasions. Aged 29, Lee has already made 304 WPL Appearances, scoring 9 times.
Name:Geoff Kellaway Squad Number: 7 Position: Midfielder / Forward Aberystwyth Town were delighted when Geoff Kellaway committed himself to the Black and Greens' WPL Adventure for 2015/6. Fans favourite Kellaway, whose blistering pace strikes fear into hearts of opposing Managers and defenders throughout the WPL, has been a major part of a Black and Greens attack force which has notched over 140 goals in two seasons, and his excellent form last season did not go unnoticed. In April Sgorio confirmed that Geoff was joint top of the WPL Assist Table with 12, to add to his 10 Goals from 29 WPL games. His third goal in a hat trick at Bala, an audacious lob from outside the area, was nominated for Goal of the Month for March. Geoff was named on the bench in the WPL Team of the Season, and won the prestigious Aberystwyth Town First Team Supporters Player of the Season at the Club Dinner in June 2015. Geoff began his career with Aberystwyth Town, making his debut during the 2003/04 season. He went on to make 141 appearances for the club, scoring 32 goals, and featured in the 2009 Welsh Cup final defeat to Bangor City. In May 2010, having been named in the 2009/10 Welsh Premier League team of the season, Kellaway joined Dandenong Thunder along with fellow Welsh Premier players Luke Sherbon and Jamie Reed. In August 2010, he was signed to a three month injury replacement contract with A-League side Melbourne Victory. He made his debut for the club as a substitute during a 2-2 draw with North Queensland Fury, becoming the 500th player to make an appearance in the A-League. He was released by the Victory and returned to Britain at the end of the 2010/11 season. In July 2011, he re-joined Aberystwyth Town and after one more season at Park Avenue, in June 2012 he moved to Llanelli, where he made his debut in the Europa League versus Kups in Finland. Geoff then moved to Carmarthen Town in January 2013 before returning to Park Avenue the following summer, where he has remained since, playing in the Welsh Cup Final of 2014/5, and the UEFA Europa League and Europa League Play Off Final last season. Since making his debut for the Black and Greens in 2003/4 Geoff has played 199 WPL games for Aberystwyth Town, scoring 53 goals.
Name:Luke Sherbon Squad Number: 8 Position: Midfielder / Forward Midfielder Luke Sherbon signed an 18 month contract extension with the Club in January 2015. Sherbon, 28, was already registered until the end of the season anyway but with Top Six Status guaranteed, he chose to remain with Town until the end of 2015/6. Since making his League debut in 2003, Luke has made 205 League appearances for the Black and Greens (in three periods with the Club), scoring 55 goals in the process, and his brace at home to Carmarthen Town was instrumental in the Club's crucial 5-3 win on New Year's Day, which cemented Aber's place amonst the WPL Elite. Sherbon's form was excellent last season in a more withdrawn Central Midfield role, proven by the fact that he won the Players' Player of the Year Award at the Club's Annual Dinner. Luke represented the Black and Greens in the Welsh Cup Final of 2014/5, and last season he played in the UEFA Europa League, and the UEFA Europa League Play Off Final.
Name:Jamie Reed Squad Number: 9 Position: Forward Aberystwyth Town were handed a massive boost with the news that legendary striker Jamie Reed joined the Club on loan from The New Saints in August 2015. Jamie went straight into the squad for Town's WPL game at home to Rhyl, and scored two special goals on his debut.
Eight years previously Reed emerged into Welsh Premier League folklore, as a hat trick on his home debut for the Black and Greens, against TNS, helped Town to a remarkable 5-1 victory. Jamie had debuted for Brian Coyne's side at Airbus the week before, coming on for Glyndwr Hughes, and his loan period at Aber really made his name in Welsh Football, with a return of 9 goals from 20 games. Since then Jamie returned to Wrexham from his loan period and went on to win a WPL title at Rhyl in 2009. He then moved to Bangor and won the Welsh Cup in 2010 before scoring 18 goals in their Championship winning season of 2010/11. Reed then transferred to the Football League and York City, for whom he played twice at Wembley, winning FA Trophy and Football League Play Off Finals. He has also played in the Conference for Chester and Cambridge United before his return to TNS last year, where he won another Championship medal. Overall Jamie has scored 112 goals in 271 appearances in Senior Football, including 67 goals in from 97 Welsh Prem starts. Reed was also one of the original three musketeers from the WPL to ply his trade in Australia, playing for Dandenong Thunder with Luke Sherbon and Geoff Kellaway in 2010, returning later to represent South Melbourne.

Name:Rhys Griffiths Squad Number: 26 Position: Forward Rhys, who joined the Club in June 2015, is probably the best known Welsh Premier League Player, due to his astonishing strike rate. He is second in the all-time list of WPL scorers, having netted 262 goals from 368 appearances. He finished as top scorer in seven consecutive seasons and was included in the Welsh Premier League's team of the season six times. A three-time winner of the league's Player of the Year award, Griffiths was capped six times by Wales at semi-professional level. Griffiths combines his role as a part-time footballer with being a firefighter in the South Wales Fire and Rescue Service. A Welsh speaker from North Cardiff, Rhys played for Cwmbrân Town, Haverfordwest County, Carmarthen Town, Port Talbot Town and Llanelli before joining Football League club Plymouth Argyle in 2012 on a one-year contract to become a professional footballer for the first time at the age of 32. Griffiths made 17 appearances in league and cup competitions for Argyle scoring 3 goals, then moved to Newport County in February 2013, where he made a further ten appearances before leaving the Exiles to return to Port Talbot Town.

Name:Chris Venables Squad Number: 10 Position: Midfielder Attacking midfielder Chris Venables signed a new two year contract with the Club in May 2015. He has become something of a phenomenon over the past eighteen months, and his goalscoring exploits in the Calendar year of 2014 earned worldwide acclaim. He was featured on uefa.com and the FIFA Weekly Magazine, not to mention a host of national television and radio outlets. More importantly to the Club he made an enormous contribution to the Black and Greens' best season for years, scoring 28 WPL Goals to retain both the Golden Boot, and the WPL Player of the Season Awards he also won in 2013/4. Chris re-signed for Aberystwyth Town in January 2013 from Llanelli, three-and-a-half years after he made the move in the opposite direction. Venables enjoyed Welsh Cup success and played in the Europa League with the Reds before his move back to Park Avenue. He joined Llanelli in June 2009 from Aberystwyth and made his Reds' debut in the Europa League in July against Motherwell in the 1-0 victory. He joined Aberystwyth Town in July 2008 after spending a year with Welshpool Town and played for Aber in the Welsh Cup Final defeat to Bangor City in 2009. He gained his revenge against Bangor for Llanelli in the 2011 Final scoring a goal in the 4-1 Welsh Cup win. He was made Llanelli captain in 2012/13 season.

Name:Craig Williams Squad Number: 11 Position: Midfielder Williams' purposeful running, pinpoint crossing and goalscoring prowess ensured he was a virtual ever present for Ian Hughes's side last season, garnering 6 goals from 31 appearances. His exploits did not go unnoticed as he was nominated for the Welsh Premier League Team of the Season, selected by opposing Managers. Craig arrived at Aberystwyth Town from Llanelli over the summer in 2013. He had returned to Llanelli on loan from TNS in January 2011, making the move permanent for the 2011/12 campaign. The winger made the shock switch from then-Champions Llanelli to The New Saints for an undisclosed fee in September 2008. After arriving at Stebonheath in November 2004 from Taffs Well, Craig became one of the longest-serving players at the club, playing for the Reds in the Intertoto Cup, the UEFA Cup and the Champions League and won the Welsh Premier League and Loosemores League Cup. At Aberystwyth Town he played in the Welsh Cup Final in May 2014, and the UEFA Europa League and Europa League Play Off Final the following season. He was also at Southampton as a youngster. Name:Sion James Squad Number: 12 Position: Defender Hugely popular with the Green Army fan base after eleven years' loyal service to the Club, Sion James was almost an ever present last season, making 28 appearances and scoring once, a vital headed winner against Newtown in Aber's first ever Top Six game January. Penrhyncoch born and bred, Sion is the longest serving player at the club, and has been an integral part of the First Team Squad over a decade. He began his career at Aberystwyth, but finding his first team chances limited, spent time at Carmarthen Town, Barry Town and Penrhyncoch before returning to Park Avenue in 2004 to cement his place in the first team. Happy to play where needed, Sion plays in a variety of positions across the back and midfield, but has made most of his starts as a centre back. Sion won supporters and players player of the year in season 2009/10, and is now up to 328 WPL Appearances (all but 4 for the Black and Greens), and 3 goals.

Name:Phil Draper Squad Number: 13 Position: Goalkeeper Aberystwyth Town are delighted to confirm that Goalkeeper Phil Draper has signed forms to remain at the Club for 2015/6. Draper has been a popular Member of the Squad since he joined the Club last summer. Last season he was called on a number of times to stand in for Keeper Mike Lewis, notably in both UEFA Europa League ties against Derry City, where Draper earned high praise for his performance in the first leg after Lewis' sending off. The 24 year old also helped the Club to wins over Cefn Druids in November, at Carmarthen in January, and saved a penalty against Port Talbot seconds after coming on in December. In total he made 2+2 WPL Appearances last season. Draper originally hails from Llandrindod Wells, and his former clubs include Penrhyncoch, Aberaeron, Aberystwyth University and the Welsh Universities Squad. Draper also once memorably scored a penalty to earn promotion for Builth Wells, whilst playing up front!

Name:Wyn Thomas Squad Number: 14 Position: Defender Wyn Thomas broke the WPL Appearance Record last season and was inducted into the WPL Hall of Fame at the Annual Dinner in May 2015. He has also scored 60 WPL goals. He has represented Aberystwyth Town, Carmarthen Town, Haverfordwest County, Llanelli and Aberystwyth again with distinction, amassing 3 Semi Pro Caps. He won all 3 domestic competitions with Llanelli, scoring the goal which won the League for the Reds in 2006, and also appeared in their Welsh Cup Final win at Parc y Scarlets in 2011. Wyn is a Welsh Schoolboys International and Welsh College Representative, and has represented Welsh Clubs in European Competitions 16 times, scoring once.Currently studying for his A Licence, Wyn was a key member of the Black and Greens squad which appeared in the Europa League and Welsh Cup Finals last year, and which finished fourth this season and reached the UEFA Europa League Play Off Final.
Name:Darren Thomas Squad Number: 15 Position: Midfield/Forward Darren, 28, is probably best known for his astonishing Welsh Cup goal for Caernarfon Town against The New Saints last December, which pipped Chris Venables to win Sgorio's Goal of the Month Award. The goal showcased Thomas's superb ball skills, pace and finishing prowess which Black and Green Supporters will be looking forward to seeing at Park Avenue next season. Less well known is that Thomas, a Welsh speaker from Caernarfon, has twice played against Aber, with devastating results. In March 2008 he created the opener, then scored two more in Llangefni's 3-0 win at Cae Bob Parry. Last summer he notched two more for Caernarfon in a Pre Season Friendly at the Oval, giving him a total of four goals in two games against the Black and Greens. Operating as an attacking midfielder or striker, Darren joined Caernarfon from Porthmadog in January 2013 and became a Cult Hero at the Oval scoring 31 Huw Gray Alliance goals from 52 appearances. He also scored two WPL hat tricks in a total of 13 goals in 30 games for Llangefni in 2007/8, to add to one solitary sub appearance for the Cofis on 2005/6.

Aberystwyth Town signed forward Jonathan Evans from Penrhyncoch in January 2016.
22 year old Jonathan had earned widespread acclaim for his performances up front for the Roosters in 2015/6 and signed for a second spell with the Black and Greens. An Aberystwyth Town FC Academy product and son of Mid Wales Travel Supremo and Club Sponsor Mel Evans, Jonathan progressed to Cardiff City's Academy and whilst there he represented the Welsh Schoolboys and Under 16s sides, competing in the Victory Shield. Jonathan then signed for Accrington Stanley before signing for Aber during Alan Morgan's tenure in July 2011. He made 5 WPL Appearances in 2011/12 before moving on to Cae Baker. and went straight into the Starting XI for matches at home to Port Talbot and Newtown in January 2016.
Name:Jack Rimmer Squad Number: 16 Position: Centre Back/Midfielder Aberystwyth Town FC are delighted to announce that Academy Product Jack Rimmer is joining the First Team Squad for 2015/16. Jack is a Sixth Former at Ysgol Gyfun Penweddig and has an impeccable sporting background, having been invited to join Liverpool's Academy at age 10, Birmingham City's Academy at 11, and having trials at Stoke City at 14. He started playing for Padarn United before joining the very successful Aber United team, winning the Ian Rush Super Cup Under 11 age group in 2009, and finishing as runners up in 2010. Jack represented Central Wales in the Cymru Cup of 2013 and the Welsh National/Regional Development Squads in 2012 and 2013. He has also played for Penweddig and Ceredigion Schools throughout his School Years, and played for Central Wales Boys 2014 and again in 2015 where Jack captained the side. Jack, a Centre Back or Midfielder by trade, has been with Bow Street since 2011 but importantly has also been part of Aberystwyth Town's Academy sides from the Under 12 Age Group onwards and was in the side that reached the Welsh Final in 2012. He is also an accomplished golfer, as part of the Dyfed team that won Welsh schools championship 2014, and has represented Ceredigion Schools Athletics Squads several times in the 100m and 400m sprints.

Name: Tom Jones Squad Number: 17 Position: Centre Back/Midfielder
Born in Carmarthen and hailing from Aberaeron, 16 year old Tom is a combative central midfielder or defender. He joined the First Team Squad at the back end of 2014/5, and made a good impression during pre season of 2015, but had to wait until September 2015 to make his Competitive debut, in Aber's 5-1 Word Cup First Round Victory over Goytre United. Another Academy Product.

Name: Liam Lewis Squad Number: 18 Position: Midfielder
Liam is an Academy Product who was part of the Black and Greens Under 19s side which won the Central Wales Youth Cup in 2014/5. Lewis made a favourable impression, featuring regularly during pre season of 2015, and he joined the First Team Squad in August 2015. Liam can operate in midfield, on the left flank or up front and he offers an attacking outlet for Ian Hughes this season.
Liam left the Club to join Llanrhystud in November 2015.

Name: Ryan Batley Squad Number: 21 Position: Defender
Ryan returned from Haverfordwest County in January 2016 for his third spell in Black and Green. He had signed for a second spell with Aber Town in August 2014 after the versatile defender returned from a spell in Australia with Northern Tigers, and was a Member of the Aberystwyth Town Squad which finished in fourth place in 2014/5. The Portsmouth-born defender was promoted to Llanelli's first team squad from the Under-19s for season 2009/10. He then won a call-up to the Wales Under-23 semi-pros in November 2009 and joined Aberystwyth for a first spell on a short term loan in October 2011, before returning to Llanelli at the end of December. The left back, who can also play at centre-back, was one of the players to remain with the Reds during the January 2013 exodus after financial problems, before he signed for Afan Lido in the 2014 summer following Llanelli's demise. He spent the first few months of the 2013/14 season with Lido, before switching to Northern Tigers in Australia.
Midfielder Nashawn was promoted from the Under 19s to the First Team Squad in January 2016 and featured on the bench for the Dafabet WPL match at home to Newtown.
Name: Kane Owen Squad Number: 23 Position: Defender
Young prospect Kane Owen signed from Afan Lido in January 2016 having been a promising member of Cardiff City's Academy side until last season. Owen joined Afan Lido in August 2015 after impressing in a number of pre season matches, and made the left back position his own with some impressive displays. The 21 year old was formerly with Cardiff City and less than 18 months ago was picked by the Western Mail's Terry Phillips as a potential star of the future. Kane played his part as Cardiff City won back-to-back Development League titles in 2013/4 and 2014/5.
