Manager:Matthew Bishop Aberystwyth Town FC announced the appointment of Matthew Bishop as First Team Manager in May 2016. Penrhyncoch-based Matthew, or "Bish" as he is fondly known, had just completed an incredible season as Assistant Manager at Hereford FC with a Wembley FA Vase Final. The Bulls had already won the Midland Football League Premier Division, League Cup and Herefordshire Challenge Cup in a remarkable first season for the club. He previously coached Newport County to promotion into the Blue Square Premier in 2009/10 with a record points total, and has also worked with Aldershot Town, Wales Under 16s, 17s and England Under 20s sides. Matthew is currently employed by the FA as Senior National Coach Developer and of course holds the prerequisite Pro Licence Certificate. 42 year old Bish played eight games for the Black and Greens in their first two WPL seasons (1992-4) before moving to Bangor City, Conwy United and Rhayader, making a total of 61 WPL appearances, scoring once.
Aberystwyth Town bolstered their Football Management Team with the appointment of Tony Pennock as Assistant Manager in April 2017.
The Club were informed in April that Wayne Jones' qualification as an A Licence candidate had expired and acted quickly to enlist Tony, whose Pro Licence qualification ensured that the Black and Greens conform with FAW Licensing criteria, and whose recent experience as First Team Coach for Premier League Club Hull City made him a stand out appointment.
Since retiring from a distinguished goalkeeping career Tony has a wealth of football experience most recently as First Team Coach for Premier League Hull City, a post he held until January 2017. He had previously managed their Football Academy, worked with Swansea City and has also managed Port Talbot Town and the Wales Semi Pro side back in 2007.
Tony made a superb debut for the Club overseeing a 2-0 win at Llandudno in April 2017.
First Team Coach:Wayne Jones
Aberystwyth Town FC recruited Wayne Jones as Assistant Manager in May 2016.
Wayne, aged 36, joined the club from Haverfordwest County where he carried out the role of First Team Manager for three years. In this role he inspired the club to promotion from the Welsh League into the Welsh Premier League in May 2015 and he oversaw the development of a number of talented young players into impressive WPL prospects.
Previously manager at Newcastle Emlyn before joining the coaching staff at the Bridge Meadow, Wayne worked as assistant manager with Derek Brazil and Micky Ellis before being appointed manager in May 2013. Prior to his managerial career, Carmarthen based Wayne had an impressive career as a WPL Player, making 295 appearances and scoring 11 goals between 1996 and 2008 for both Haverfordwest and Carmarthen as a combative left back.
Wayne was replaced as Assistant Manager by Tony Pennock in April 2017.

A popular and reassuring presence on matchdays, Ffiona has been Club Physio for a number of years at Park Avenue. LUBAS Qualified, she has recently opened her own Physiotherapy Practice in Aberystwyth, known as FE Sports Therapy. Hailing from Rhos near Llandysul, Ffiona is a stalwart and Captain of Aber Town Ladies' side, and as such an integral part of the club.

Name: Chris Mullock Squad Number: 26 Position: Goalkeeper Aberystwyth Town announced the return, on loan, of 28 year old TNS Goalkeeper Chris Mullock in September 2016 and he celebrated his second debut with a clean sheet in Aber's 5-0 win at Carmarthen. He transferred permanently to the Black and Greens in January 2017. Wrexham-born Mullock joined TNS from Cymru Alliance side, Cefn Druids in the summer of 2013 and spent the majority of the 2013/14 season on loan at Newtown after joining the Robins in September 2013. Chris famously kept a clean sheet against Finnish Giants, MyPa in the Europa League first qualifying round and helped his former team mates to a famous draw. He has played for Druids, Newtown, Aberystwyth Town and TNS since making his WPL debut in 2006/7. Chris had a spell at Aber last season, playing 4 times in the Autumn of 2015, totalling to 86 Dafabet WPL appearances.
2016/7 Updates: Chris scored the first ever competitive goal on Park Avenue's new 3G Facility with an astonishing 65 yard free kick for the Black and Greens against Rhyl in October and was selected in Sgorio's 5-on-form team for that weekend. Watch his goal here.

Name: Cledan Davies Squad Number: 3 Position: Defender Tregaron born Cledan returned to the club in June 2012 after a season away. Signed in 2009 from Tregaron Turfs after impressing then Aberystwyth Town boss Brian Coyne, left footed Cledan, happy at left back or as a left winger, became an important part of the team during his first season at the club. After being out with an ankle injury for most of the 2010/11 season, and finding his first team chances limited, Cledan spent time on loan at Penrhyncoch before signing for Tomi Morgan at Carmarthen in 2011. After starting most games and showing his worth at Carmarthen, Tomi wasted no time in bringing Cledan back to his local Welsh Premier team for the new season, and in his first season back, won Supporters' Player of the Year. Davies was ever present in 2013/4 and was an integral part of the side which reached the Welsh Cup Final. In 2014/5 he represented the Black and Greens in the UEFA Europa League, and achieved a Top Four finish with Ian Hughes' men. Cledan is known for his swashbuckling attacking runs down the left flank, pinpoint crosses and occasional brilliant strikes, however one of his most memorable contributions last season was a 45 minute cameo in goal in October 2014, when he produced one astonishing left handed save in the rain to keep a clean sheet at home to Newtown. Now aged 25, Cledan has made 183 WPL appearances, scoring 11 goals along the way.
Cledan went on loan to Caersws FC in September, and returned in November 2016.

Name:Sam Rodon Squad Number: 4 Position: Centre Back Sam Rodon joined Aberystwyth Town from Haverfordwest County in June 2016. Rodon's addition sees the Black and Green’s defensive ranks bolstered. A popular player with both supporters and players alike at Haverfordwest, the 23 year old previously spent seven years with the Swansea City Academy, was capped for Wales Schoolboys Under 18s and captained the Welsh Colleges Under 19s side, and also played for West End. He joined Haverfordwest in 2013 and won Players', Manager's and Supporters' Player of the Year Awards whilst at Bridge Meadow. In his maiden Dafabet WPL season last year he made 30 appearances, scoring 3 times.
Name:Jamie Crowther Squad Number: 6 Position: Midfielder Aberystwyth Town were delighted to announce the signing of experienced central midfielder/defender Jamie Crowther from Altrincham FC in January 2017. Crowther, 24, was ever present for Gap Connah’s Quay last year in their surge to the UEFA Europa League, before moving southwards to represent Bala Town in both their UEFA Europa League matches in the summer. Jamie left the Lakesiders soon afterwards and joined National League side Altrincham – and although he did not appear for them, Town anxiously waited for international clearance, which thankfully arrived in time for Town's game vs Cefn Druids. Coincidentally, the Wales Under 18 capped Crowther debuted in the Welsh Prem with Druids in 2010, having also represented Mold Alex and Holywell Town. He went on to represent Stalybridge Celtic, Wrexham Reserves and Barrow before returning to the Welsh Prem with Connah’s Quay in 2015. Jamie has made 56 Dafabet WPL appearances in total, scoring three times and his experience and physicality will be a big boost to Town’s defensive solidity.
Name:Geoff Kellaway Squad Number: 7 Position: Midfielder / Forward Aberystwyth Town were delighted when Geoff Kellaway committed himself to the Black and Greens' WPL adventure for 2016/7. Fan favourite Kellaway, whose blistering pace strikes fear into hearts of opposing Managers and defenders throughout the WPL, has been a major part of a Black and Greens attack force which notched over 140 goals between 2014-6, and his excellent form of 2014/5 did not go unnoticed. In April Sgorio confirmed that Geoff was joint top of the WPL Assist Table with 12, to add to his 10 Goals from 29 WPL games. His third goal in a hat trick at Bala, an audacious lob from outside the area, was nominated for Goal of the Month for March. Geoff was named on the bench in the WPL Team of the Season, and won the prestigious Aberystwyth Town First Team Supporters' Player of the Season at the Club Dinner in June 2015. Geoff began his career with Aberystwyth Town, making his debut during the 2003/04 season. He went on to make 141 appearances for the club, scoring 32 goals, and featured in the 2009 Welsh Cup final defeat to Bangor City. In May 2010, having been named in the 2009/10 Welsh Premier League team of the season, Kellaway joined Dandenong Thunder along with fellow Welsh Premier players Luke Sherbon and Jamie Reed. In August 2010, he was signed to a three month injury replacement contract with A-League side Melbourne Victory. He made his debut for the club as a substitute during a 2-2 draw with North Queensland Fury, becoming the 500th player to make an appearance in the A-League. He was released by the Victory and returned to Britain at the end of the 2010/11 season. In July 2011, he re-joined Aberystwyth Town and after one more season at Park Avenue, in June 2012 he moved to Llanelli, where he made his debut in the Europa League versus Kups in Finland. Geoff then moved to Carmarthen Town in January 2013 before returning to Park Avenue the following summer, where he has remained since, playing in the Welsh Cup Final of 2014/5, and the UEFA Europa League and Europa League Play Off Final last season. Since making his debut for the Black and Greens in 2003/4 Geoff has played 223 WPL games for Aberystwyth Town, scoring 55 goals.

Name:Luke Sherbon (Club Captain) Squad Number: 8 Position: Midfielder Talismanic midfielder Luke Sherbon signed an 18 month contract extension with the club in January 2015, which was subsequently extended for 2016/7. Sherbon, 30, chose to remain with Town to create a link between the past and Matthew Bishop's new look squad of 2016/7. Since making his league debut in 2003, Luke has made over 200 League appearances for the Black and Greens (in three periods with the Club). Sherbon's form in central midfield is key to the team's success, and he won the Players' Player of the Year Award at the Club's Annual Dinner in 2015. Luke represented the Black and Greens in the Welsh Cup Final of 2014, and went on to play in the 2014/5 UEFA Europa League, and the UEFA Europa League Play Off Final. He has previously represented Barry Town, Rhyl - where he won the Welsh Premier League in 2009 - and Australian Side Dandenong Thunder. Luke has made a career total of 225 WPL appearances for Aberystwyth Town, scoring 56 goals.
Name:Jon Owen Squad Number: 10 Position: Forward Highly rated striker Jon Owen joined the Black and Greens from Llandudno FC in January 2017. Welsh speaker Owen, 24, from the Porthmadog area spent six years at Bangor City but was restricted to 24 sub appearances for Neville Powell's team and moved on to Porthmadog and Caersws in the Cymru Alliance before returning to the Dafabet Welsh Premier League at Rhyl last season. He made a very positive impression, scoring 9 goals from 27+3 appearances including two great strikes against Bangor City last March at Belle Vue in a televised thriller. Jon was snapped up by Llandudno in the summer and has scored three more goals from 19+2 appearances at Maesdu Park. His fantastic energy on the pitch make Jon an exciting player to watch and if he fulfills his promise Black and Green Supporters are in for a treat.
Name:Luke Borrelli Squad Number: 11 Position: Midfielder / Forward Forward Luke Borrelli, who signed for the Club in June 2016, is a product of Afan Lido's academy and a Boys Clubs of Wales International. He has represented Afan Lido, Pontardawe, Port Talbot and Haverfordwest, where he shone last season finding the net 8 times. Borrelli’s determination to succeed coupled with his lauded finishing skills and two-footedness sees Aberystwyth’s attacking arsenal significantly boosted. The former Bluebird arrives at Park Avenue with a sterling reputation. Of course, he will be familiar to the Green Army having found the net three times against the Seasiders in an impressive campaign last time around. Having begun his career at Afan Lido, the 25 year old has played at Welsh Premier League level for both Haverfordwest County and Port Talbot Town and has made a total of 75 WPL appearances, scoring 18 goals.

Name:Ryan Wollacott Squad Number: 13 Position: Defender Ryan Wollacott joined the Black and Greens from Stourport Swifts in July 2016. Ryan, 20, featured in Aber's friendly games of 2016 and scored Town's first half opener at Caersws. A 6ft 1in central defender, he caught Matthew Bishop's eye as part of the Swifts side which beat Hereford FC in August 2015, and he went on to make 54 starts for the Midland League Premier Division side, scoring twice and earning 8 Man of the Match nominations. His previous clubs include Causeway United, Worcester Academy and Stourbridge Youth and Ryan is currently studying Business and Finance at Worcester University.

Name:Jack Rimmer Squad Number: 14 Position: Centre Back/Midfielder Aberystwyth Town FC Academy product Jack Rimmer joined the first team squad for 2015/16, and made an impression in the 9 WPL appearances he amassed in his debut season. The highpoint was probably a stunning winning goal scored at Haverfordwest from out near the touchline on Boxing Day 2015. Jack is a Sixth Former at Ysgol Gyfun Penweddig and has an impeccable sporting background, having been invited to join Liverpool's Academy at age 10, Birmingham City's Academy at 11, and having trials at Stoke City at 14. Jack represented Central Wales in the Cymru Cup of 2013 and the Welsh National/Regional Development squads in 2012 and 2013. He has also played for Penweddig and Ceredigion Schools throughout his school years, and played for Central Wales Boys in 2014 and again in 2015 where Jack captained the side. Jack, a Centre Back or Midfielder by trade, had been with Bow Street since 2011 but importantly has also been part of Aberystwyth Town's Academy sides from the Under 12 age group onwards and was in the side that reached the Welsh Final in 2012. Jack spent the first part of the 2016/17 season on loan at Penrhyncoch in search of first team football, amassing 8 apps for the Cymru Alliance side.
Name:Malcolm Melvin Squad Number: 15 Position: Midfielder Midfielder Malcolm Melvin joined the Club from Halesowen Town on Transfer Deadline Day, January 31st 2017. Despite being born in Birmingham, Malcolm has represented Scotland Under 17s, Under 18s and Under 19s and has also played for Walsall, Crewe, Aston Villa, Notts County, Barwell, Sutton Coldfield and Halesowen Town in his career to date. Described as a combative midfielder, the 21 year old is known for his excellent free kicks and scored seven times in 67 appearances for the Pitmen.
Name:Elliot Scotcher Squad Number: 18 Position: Midfielder Aberystwyth Town were delighted to announce the signing of talented midfielder Elliot Scotcher from Merthyr Tydfil in January 2017. Highly rated Scotcher, aged 22, is originally from Pembrokeshire and spent time with Ipswich Town and Cardiff City as a youngster, before enrolling at UWIC and becoming a key figure in the monumental ascent of Christian Edwards's side from Welsh League Division Three to the Welsh Premier League. Upon graduation, Elliot trialled at Newport County before signing for Merthyr Tydfil in the summer of 2015, but the creative and skillful midfielder has now transferred to the Black and Greens to showcase his undoubted talents to a Dafabet Welsh Premier League audience for the first time.
Elliott is currently unavailable due to a long term shoulder injury but the Club hopes he will be available in 2017/8.
Name:Dan Alfei Squad Number: 19 Position: Defender Aberystwyth Town announced the signing of former Swansea City, Wrexham and Wales Under 21 international Dan Alfei in September 2016 following his release from the Swans in the summer. Alfei, a defender, started his career at his home town club Swansea City, making his professional debut in a 4-0 FA Cup victory against Colchester United in 2011. He also boasts a wealth of both National League and Football League experience, having enjoyed loan spells at Wrexham, Portsmouth, Northampton Town and most recently Mansfield Town in League Two, before being released by his parent club this summer. The full back has also represented his country at Under 17, 19 and 21 level, amassing 37 caps in the process. He is renowned for his excellent defensive work and is not afraid to get forward, scoring four goals at international level in the process. Twenty four year old Dan made his debut in Black and Green at home to TNS on October 1st.
Name:Dafydd Jones Squad Number: 20 Position: Midfielder Midfielder Dafydd Jones joined the club from Newport County on Transfer Deadline Day, January 31st 2017. Dafydd hails from Ebbw Vale and was a free agent after leaving Newport County at the end of December. Despite making the subs bench twice he did not appear for County in 2016/7 and spent the majority of the season on loan at Monmouth Town, where he made a very good impression. A product of the Newport County academy, he made his senior debut for Newport in the Football League Cup first round match versus Wolverhampton Wanderers on 11 August 2015. A winger by trade, Dafydd can go past players and deliver quality crosses, as well as being in the right area to grab a goal.
Youth Team player Josh Crowl was added to the First Team Squad in November 2016 and he made his WPL debut at home to Cardiff Met in January 2017.
Name: Mark Jones Squad Number: 23 Position: Forward Striker Mark Jones rejoined Aber on loan from Carmarthen Town in February 2017 until the end of the season. Jones has scored seven goals this season for the Old Gold, putting him in the WPL Golden Boot Top Ten. Jonah was well liked in his time at Park Avenue, earning the fans respect with his hard work ethic and ability to notch vital goals at key times. He has a WPL career total of 77 goals from 181+39 sub appearances, of which 31 were for Town in two and a half seasons between January 2013 and May 2015. Mark made his second Aber debut at home to Llandudno in February 2017.

Youth Team central defender Daniel Hopton was added to the First Team Squad on Transfer Deadline Day, 31st January 2017. He is yet to make his WPL Debut.
Youth Team fullback/winger Sion Ewart was added to the First Team Squad on Transfer Deadline Day, 31st January 2017. He made his WPL Debut at Llandudno in a 2-0 win in April 2017 and scored his first WPL goal on the final day of the 2016/17 season away at Newtown.

Name:Phil Baker Squad Number: N/A Position: Centre Back Eight time Welsh Premier League Champion Phil Baker joined Aber from The New Saints in March 2017, on loan until the end of the season. Centre back Baker, 34, has been an integral part of TNS's Squad for over a decade and has been twice named in the WPL Dream Team, in 2006/7 and 2014/5. Known for his excellent timing and ability to be in the right place at the right time, Phil originally appeared in the WPL for Bangor City in 2003, joining the Farrar Road club from Tranmere Rovers, but left after a short time to join Football League outfit Exeter City. Baker returned to the Welsh Premier with Aber Town in 2003/4 and made 32 WPL appearances for the Black and Greens side which finished fourth and represented Wales in the UEFA Inter Toto Cup ties against Dinaburg Daugavpils. After a brief spell with Unibond League Droylsden, Phil rejoined Bangor City in September 2004, where he made 28 league appearances in 2004/5, before joining The New Saints, where he has established himself as one of the WPL's most successful defenders of all time. On joining Aber Phil had made 340 WPL starts plus 24 sub appearances, scoring 12 goals in the process.

Name: Dylan Rees Squad Number: N/A Position: Defender Aberystwyth Town FC were delighted to announce the signing of right back Dylan Rees from Cardiff City in January 2017. Pembrokeshire based Rees is an energetic right-sided defender who spent a decade with the Bluebirds. He signed a first year scholarship deal with City four years ago, before earning a professional contract in May 2015, going on to score the winner for Cardiff in a pre season friendly at Carmarthen that summer. Dylan had spent eight years making progress through the Cardiff City Academy, while he completed BTEC qualifications equating to two A Levels plus his level two coaching badge. Dylan played regular under-21 team football until his release from last year. A former Ysgol Greenhill School pupil, Dylan started playing for Tenby AFC before joining City. He travelled regularly from West Wales to Cardiff for a number of seasons before taking up a Bluebirds’ football scholarship and moving to be closer to the club.
Dylan was released to a Swedish Club in March 2017.
Name:Lee Healey Squad Number: N/A Position: Forward Aberystwyth Town announced the signing of experienced striker Lee Healey from Holywell Town in January 2017. 30 year old Lee is known for his no nonsense style of play and he has impressed against Aber on a number of previous occasions, most recently for the Wellmen in the Welsh Cup tie in December. Merseyside based Healey has previously played Dafabet WPL Football for Gap Connah's Quay, Bangor City, and Cefn Driuds, scoring an impressive total of 16 goals from 24+11 sub appearances and winning the WPL Player of the Month Award for October 2014. Name: Chris Jones Squad Number: N/A Position: Midfielder Aberystwyth Town announced the signing of hugely influential midfielder Chris Jones in August 2016. 26 year old Chris was a big presence at Port Talbot in the Dafabet WPL in 2015/6, but joined the Black and Greens having spent the summer with Canadian Club Thunderbay Chill. After making seven appearances as a youngster for Swansea City, Jones played on loan at Cambridge United before moving on to Grimsby Town; but he came to prominence after joining Neath FC in January 2010. Chris scored a hat trick on his debut for the Eagles against Porthmadog and emerged as probably the most exciting winger in the Dafabet Welsh Premier League, scoring 14 goals in two and a half seasons at the Gnoll. He then moved to The New Saints in 2012 and was an ever present for two seasons, winning two Dafabet WPL Championship Medals and scoring 8 goals in the process. He was also in the TNS side which beat Aber Town in the Welsh Cup Final of May 2014. Jones briefly moved on to Gloucester City before returning to South Wales with Port Talbot in 2014/15. Equally proficient on the wing and behind the strikers, Skewen based Chris has made 174 WPL appearances scoring 27 goals.

Name:Kostya Georgievsky Squad Number: N/A Position: Midfielder Aberystwyth Town signed 20 year old midfielder Kostya Georgievsky from Port Talbot Town in July 2016. Newry-born striker Kostya was promoted into the Port Talbot Town first team squad in October 2014, after impressing with the youth team, though he made a fine breakthrough to the first team in January 2016 with some impressive performances on the wing. He played the 2013/14 season as a youth team player with the Steelman, whilst also gaining first team experience with Garden Village. He has made a total of 15 Dafabet WPL appearances, scoring once - at Park Avenue for the Steelmen in January 2016. Kostya scored his first goal for Town in an impressive 0-3 win vs Cefn Druids away at the Rock in Phase One.
Kostya was released from his Contract in March 2017 and joined Penybont FC.
Name:Kurtis March Squad Number: N/A Position: Midfielder Aberystwyth Town FC were delighted to announce the signing of midfielder Kurtis March in July 2016 from Port Talbot Town. 23 year oldKurtis caught the eye with some wholehearted performances in defence and midfield for Port Talbot Town last season, having previously been on Swansea City's books and a regular in their Under 21 side. In his debut WPL season Kurtis proved indispensable to the Steelmen with 26 (+4 sub) WPL appearances, also appearing in a Welsh Cup Semi Final. Name:Will Bell Squad Number: N/A Position: Defender Defender Will Bell signed for the Club in July 2016 from Bala Town. The centre back comes to the Ceredigion coast having started his career at Morecombe before spending the previous time at Bala Town where he made 31 Dafabet WPL appearances for the Lakesiders as well as a loan spell to Colwyn Bay where he made seven appearances. Confident, strong in the air and competent with the ball at his feet, the 21 year old will bolster Aber’s defensive options in the forthcoming season. Although signed for his defensive capabilities, Bell will be remembered by Town fans for his goal scoring exploits when, after a stunning hat trick from Geoff Kellaway, he broke the Green Army’s hearts with an 89th minute equaliser on Maes Tegid in 2015.

Name:Ricky Watts Squad Number: N/A Position: Defender Full back Ricky Watts joined the Black and Greens from Haverfordwest County in June 2016. He played an integral role in Haverfordwest County’s Welsh League Division One championship winning season and grew his reputation during the Bluebirds’ term in the Welsh Premier League last time around. Ricky made his debut at age 17 in the Welsh Premier League, and was capped for Wales schools under 18’s in 2010. Now aged 24, during the previous seven seasons, Watts has amassed a wealth of experience which will be an invaluable asset to the Aber back line. He has made a total of 44 WPL appearances in total, all for Haverfordwest County, scoring once. Ricky was released to return to Haverfordwest County in January 2017.
Name:Joe Clarke Squad Number: N/A Position: Midfielder Midfielder Joe Clarke signed for the Club from Port Talbot Town in June 2016. Joe was club captain with Goytre United after joining from West End in 2012. He signed for Port Talbot Town in May 2015 and created a strong central midfield partnership with Paul Fowler last season at the GenQuip. Joe enjoys getting forward and proved in pre season to have a keen eye for a goal. He came through the youth ranks at Llanelli and spent time in Australia playing for Moreland City. Joe made 29 appearances in his debut Dafabet WPL Season last year, scoring three goals.
Joe was released to join Llanelli FC in January 2017.
Name:Blake Davies Squad Number: N/A Position: Forward Aberystwyth Town were delighted to announce the loan signing of striker Blake Davies from Forest Green Rovers in August 2016. The centre forward joined the Black and Greens with an excellent goal scoring record at youth level that helped him catch the eye of Forest Green, who handed him his first professional contract in the summer of 2016. The 18 year old joined the Seasiders from the Green Devils following a move from Bristol Rovers in the summer where he completed a two year scholarship in the Pirates’ Under 18’s set up. He had previous experience in the Evo-Stik Southern Premier League with Frome Town and was previously a member of the youth set up at Cardiff City. Davies has also earned recognition at international level, representing Wales at Under 17’s level and has recently made the jump up to the Under 19 age bracket. Blake made his debut for the Black and Greens at Airbus on 21st August 2016, making an important contribution to the Black and Greens' first away win of the season.

Blake returned from his loan period to host club Forest Green Rovers in January 2017.
Liam is another Academy Product who was part of the Black and Greens Under 19s side which won the Central Wales Youth Cup in 2014/5. Liam then joined the First Team Squad from Bow Street on transfer deadline day, September 2015 and made his debut in Aber's 5-1 Word Cup First Round Victory over Goytre United. Liam is an attacking player who can play on the right side or up front.
He made 3 starts and 11 sub appearances in his maiden Dafabet Welsh Premier League season of 2015/6.
Name:Dominic Richards Squad Number: N/A Position: Goalkeeper Aberystwyth Town FC announced the signing of 20 year old goalkeeper Dominic Richards in July 2016, who starred for Stourport Swifts in the Midland League Premier Division last season. Like Ryan Wollacott he was an ever present for the Swifts in 2015/6, making 54 appearances and gaining 7 Man of the Match nominations. Dominic made his Town debut as a trialist at Porthmadog in July 2016, and is a commanding 6ft 3in tall, weighing 13st 4lb. He has also represented Dudley Sports and is a Sports student at Worcester University.
Dominic was released to rejoin Stourport Swifts in November 2016.
Name:Lewis Coyle Squad Number: N/A Position: Forward Aberystwyth Town FC announced the signing of 28 year old forward Lewis Coyle in August 2016, to bolster Manager Matthew Bishop's striking options for 2016/7. Ormskirk based Lewis signed from Evo-Stick Northern Premier League outfit Prescot Cables having previously played for Leeds United, Chester City, Burscough, St Helens Town and Droylesden. After coming on as a sub at Caersws and Caernarfon in July 2016, he started up front in Aber's subsequent pre season friendlies, and scored Town's opener at Porthmadog, with an instinctive near post finish to a Geoff Kellaway cross.The imposing Coyle certainly made an impression with his arial prowess and ability to hold the ball up. Lewis was released by Aberystwyth Town in November 2016.
Name:Jonathan Evans Squad Number: N/A Position: Midfield/Forward Aberystwyth Town re-signed forward Jonathan Evans from Penrhyncoch in July 2016. Evans is no stranger to Aber fans, having previously re-joined the club in January 2016 from the Roosters. Despite making a positive impression with his energy filled performances, Evans returned to Penrhyn in February. 22 year old Jonathan had earned widespread acclaim for his performances up front for the Roosters in 2015/6. An Aberystwyth Town FC Academy product and son of Mid Wales Travel Supremo and Club Sponsor Mel Evans, Jonathan progressed to Cardiff City's Academy and whilst there he represented the Welsh Schoolboys and Under 16s sides, competing in the Victory Shield. Jonathan then signed for Accrington Stanley before signing for Aber during Alan Morgan's tenure in July 2011. He made 5 WPL Appearances in 2011/12 before moving on to Cae Baker. and went straight into the Starting XI for matches at home to Port Talbot and Newtown in January 2016. In three spells at the Club Jonathan has made 14 Dafabet WPL appearances, scoring twice - both in the same game, at Haverfordwest in February 2016.

Name:Greg Walters Squad Number: N/A Position: Midfielder Midfielder Greg Walters joined the Black and Greens from Haverfordwest County in June 2016. Greg made 31 appearances in his debut WPL season of 2015/6, scoring twice.

Name: Tom Jones Squad Number: N/A Position: Midfielder
Born in Carmarthen and hailing from Aberaeron, 17 year old Tom is a combative central midfielder or defender. He joined the First Team Squad at the back end of 2014/5, and made a good impression during pre season of 2015, but had to wait until September 2015 to make his Competitive debut, in Aber's 5-1 Word Cup First Round Victory over Goytre United. Another Academy Product.

Name:Joshua Bull Squad Number: N/A Position: Forward Forward Josh Bull signed for the Club in July 2016 from Cwmbran Celtic, following a successful pre season trial periods. He notched his first goal in Black and Green at Caersws on 20th July. 23 year old Joshua, from Blaenavon, was top scorer in the entire Welsh League last season with an amazing 32 strikes for Cwmbran Celtic. A cultured, speedy and nippy left footed player he came through Celtic’s Academy, and made his first team debut in 2012/3. He has also played for Abertillery Bluebirds, Blaenavon Blues, Monmouth Town and Goytre but rejoined Celtic in 2015/6 to devastating effect.
Josh was released by the Club in August 2016.
Name:Carl Lamb Squad Number: N/A Position: Forward Aberystwyth Town FC announced the signing of striker Carl Lamb in July 2016, following a successful pre season trial period in which he confidently scored important goals both at Caernarfon and Porthmadog. 31 year old Carl arrives for a second spell in Black and Green having made one WPL Cup appearance for Alan Morgan’s side of 2011/12. He went on to play for Rhyl in January 2015 having had a spell Chesterfield in the Football League in September 2014. Lamb started his WPL career with Bangor after joining from Cammell Laird at the beginning of March 2005 and scored on his debut at Welshpool Town. He transferred to Cefn Druids in the 2006 close season and went on to spend fifteen months with The New Saints in 2007/8 before joining Blue Square North outfit Droylsden. Released in August 2009, he returned to the Welsh Premier with Welshpool but left for Witton Albion in November. Lamb then made a return to the Welsh Premier with Aberystwyth Town in January 2012 but stayed only a few weeks before joining Buckley Town and, after a spell in Australia, made the switch to Chesterfield. Lamb scored once from seven starts and four substitute appearances in Rhyl towards an impressive career total of 26 goals from 75 (+30) WPL appearances.
Carl was released by the Club in August 2016.
