Seamus was appointed First Team Manager at the club in March 2018, and is an experienced Pro License coach who's worked in Northern Ireland, coaching at Glenavon, Kilmore Recreation and the Northern Irish u19's squad. He most recently worked with Knockbreda u20's an northern Irish First Division side Annagh United. Seamus also has close ties with North Wales after formerly playing for Wrexham, making 32 appearances during the 1983/4 season, before making 17 appearances for Tranmere Rovers during the same period as Nev Powell. Seamus' son, Ben Heath also has previous experience in the Welsh Premier League, after making a combined 56 WPL appearances for Caernarfon and Connah's Quay between 2004 and 2007.

Assistant Manager:Wayne Jones
Aberystwyth Town FC recruited Wayne Jones as Assistant Manager in May 2016.
Wayne, aged 36, joined the club from Haverfordwest County where he carried out the role of First Team Manager for three years. In this role he inspired the club to promotion from the Welsh League into the Welsh Premier League in May 2015 and he oversaw the development of a number of talented young players into impressive WPL prospects.
Previously manager at Newcastle Emlyn before joining the coaching staff at the Bridge Meadow, Wayne worked as assistant manager with Derek Brazil and Micky Ellis before being appointed manager in May 2013. Prior to his managerial career, Carmarthen based Wayne had an impressive career as a WPL Player, making 295 appearances and scoring 11 goals between 1996 and 2008 for both Haverfordwest and Carmarthen as a combative left back.
Director of Football: Neville Powell
Aberystwyth Town were delighted to name Neville Powell as their new First Team Manager in July 2017. Powell, who revalidated his A Licence in May 2017, replaced previous Manager Tony Pennock, who was released to rejoin Hull City in June.
Nev ensured legendary status as Manager at Bangor City FC after leading the Club to a Welsh Premier League title in 2010/11 and Welsh Cup Final wins in 2008, 2009 and 2010. He also earned five WPL Manager of the Month Awards and two WPL Manager of the Year Awards in 2010 and 2011, and won the Welsh League Cup as Manager of Connah's Quay in 1996.
Chairman Donald Kane said: "Nev's Stature within Welsh Football, his experience within the League, and the extensive contacts he has within the game marked him out as an outstanding candidate for the job, and as a Club we are delighted to have recruited him as First Team Manager. Nev and Assistant Manager Wayne Jones have already had extensive discussions with regards to preparations for next season and both look forward to working with each other, starting this week."
Club Matchday Physio: Ffiona Evans
A popular and reassuring presence on matchdays, Ffiona has been Club Physio for a number of years at Park Avenue. LUBAS Qualified, she has recently opened her own Physiotherapy Practice in Aberystwyth, known as FE Sports Therapy. Hailing from Rhos near Llandysul, Ffiona is a stalwart and Captain of Aber Town Ladies' side, and as such an integral part of the club.

Name: Chris Mullock Squad Number: 1 Position: Goalkeeper Aberystwyth Town announced the return, on loan, of 28 year old TNS Goalkeeper Chris Mullock in September 2016 and he celebrated his second debut with a clean sheet in Aber's 5-0 win at Carmarthen. He transferred permanently to the Black and Greens in January 2017. Wrexham-born Mullock joined TNS from Cymru Alliance side, Cefn Druids in the summer of 2013 and spent the majority of the 2013/14 season on loan at Newtown after joining the Robins in September 2013. Chris famously kept a clean sheet against Finnish Giants, MyPa in the Europa League first qualifying round and helped his former team mates to a famous draw. He has played for Druids, Newtown, Aberystwyth Town and TNS since making his WPL debut in 2006/7. Chris had a spell at Aber last season, playing 4 times in the Autumn of 2015, totalling to 86 Dafabet WPL appearances.
2016/7 Updates: Chris scored the first ever competitive goal on Park Avenue's new 3G Facility with an astonishing 65 yard free kick for the Black and Greens against Rhyl in October and was selected in Sgorio's 5-on-form team for that weekend. Watch his goal here.
Name: Declan Walker Squad Number: 2 Position: Defender Declan Walker joined Neville Powell's Squad in July 2017. Rated as one of the best right backs in the Welsh Premier League during three seasons starring as part of Powell's Bangor City side, Walker made 61 appearances and scoring twice before a cruel injury curtailed his career at Nantporth in 2016/7. Warrington based Declan had previously represented the Republic of Ireland's Under 19s side and Wrexham in the Blue Square Premier League. He spent a period on trial during Aber's pre season campaign of 2017 and gave the Club a huge boost by signing prior to the start of 2017/8.
Name: Sam Kersh Squad Number: 3 Position: Defender Sam Kersh joined Neville Powell's Squad in January 2018, and the young Centre Back was named as a substitute for the first time for Welsh Cup Quarter Final at Carmarthen in March 2018.23 year old Sam hadbeen impressing in training for almost two months, but his international clearance only came through in late February. Most recently playing in the USA for California State University in Los Angeles, Sam was previously with Burscough Dynamos in the North West, and he has recently returned from the States to his roots in Liverpool. He will wear shirt number 3.
Jonny joined the club in the summer of 2017 and immediately took over the club captaincy. The 22-year-old gained experience at Wigan Athletic, Blackburn Rovers and Rochdale, before joining Cymru Alliance outfit Llandudno and then joining Airbus in 2014. After a spell back at Llandudno on-loan, he was recalled to the Wingmakers in February 2016, and made 22 league starts least season.
Name:Ryan Wollacott Squad Number: 5 Position: Defender Ryan Wollacott joined the Black and Greens from Stourport Swifts in July 2016. Ryan, 20, featured in Aber's friendly games of 2016 and scored Town's first half opener at Caersws. A 6ft 1in central defender, he caught Matthew Bishop's eye as part of the Swifts side which beat Hereford FC in August 2015, and he went on to make 54 starts for the Midland League Premier Division side, scoring twice and earning 8 Man of the Match nominations. His previous clubs include Causeway United, Worcester Academy and Stourbridge Youth and Ryan is currently studying Business and Finance at Worcester University.

Name : Tom Owens Squad Number : 6 Position: Midfielder
26 year old Tom hails from Liverpool and is a goalscoring midfielder with 3 from 9 appearances for Radcliffe in 2017/8, during which he also gained three Man of the Match nominations. He has previously played with Preston North End (2003-10) and FC London before moving to the States where he played for Michigan Bucks. Tom currently coaches with Liverpool FC International Academy and has a Master of Communications from Quincy University.
Name:Geoff Kellaway Squad Number: 7 Position: Midfielder / Forward Aberystwyth Town were delighted when Geoff Kellaway committed himself to the Black and Greens' WPL adventure for 2016/7. Fan favourite Kellaway, whose blistering pace strikes fear into hearts of opposing Managers and defenders throughout the WPL, has been a major part of a Black and Greens attack force which notched over 140 goals between 2014-6, and his excellent form of 2014/5 did not go unnoticed. In April Sgorio confirmed that Geoff was joint top of the WPL Assist Table with 12, to add to his 10 Goals from 29 WPL games. His third goal in a hat trick at Bala, an audacious lob from outside the area, was nominated for Goal of the Month for March. Geoff was named on the bench in the WPL Team of the Season, and won the prestigious Aberystwyth Town First Team Supporters' Player of the Season at the Club Dinner in June 2015. Geoff began his career with Aberystwyth Town, making his debut during the 2003/04 season. He went on to make 141 appearances for the club, scoring 32 goals, and featured in the 2009 Welsh Cup final defeat to Bangor City. In May 2010, having been named in the 2009/10 Welsh Premier League team of the season, Kellaway joined Dandenong Thunder along with fellow Welsh Premier players Luke Sherbon and Jamie Reed. In August 2010, he was signed to a three month injury replacement contract with A-League side Melbourne Victory. He made his debut for the club as a substitute during a 2-2 draw with North Queensland Fury, becoming the 500th player to make an appearance in the A-League. He was released by the Victory and returned to Britain at the end of the 2010/11 season. In July 2011, he re-joined Aberystwyth Town and after one more season at Park Avenue, in June 2012 he moved to Llanelli, where he made his debut in the Europa League versus Kups in Finland. Geoff then moved to Carmarthen Town in January 2013 before returning to Park Avenue the following summer, where he has remained since, playing in the Welsh Cup Final of 2014/5, and the UEFA Europa League and Europa League Play Off Final last season. Since making his debut for the Black and Greens in 2003/4 Geoff has played 223 WPL games for Aberystwyth Town, scoring 55 goals.

Name:Malcolm Melvin Squad Number: 8 Position: Midfielder Midfielder Malcolm Melvin joined the Club from Halesowen Town on Transfer Deadline Day, January 31st 2017. Despite being born in Birmingham, Malcolm has represented Scotland Under 17s, Under 18s and Under 19s and has also played for Walsall, Crewe, Aston Villa, Notts County, Barwell, Sutton Coldfield and Halesowen Town in his career to date. Described as a combative midfielder, the 21 year old is known for his excellent free kicks and scored seven times in 67 appearances for the Pitmen.
29 year old Craig has previously played for Stockport, Lincoln City and Guiseley before notching ten goals for Chester City in the Football Conference and was most recently with Altrincham.
Name:John Owen Squad Number: 10 Position: Forward Highly rated striker Jon Owen joined the Black and Greens from Llandudno FC in January 2017. Welsh speaker Owen, 24, from the Porthmadog area spent six years at Bangor City but was restricted to 24 sub appearances for Neville Powell's team and moved on to Porthmadog and Caersws in the Cymru Alliance before returning to the Dafabet Welsh Premier League at Rhyl last season. He made a very positive impression, scoring 9 goals from 27+3 appearances including two great strikes against Bangor City last March at Belle Vue in a televised thriller. Jon was snapped up by Llandudno in the summer and has scored three more goals from 19+2 appearances at Maesdu Park. His fantastic energy on the pitch make Jon an exciting player to watch and if he fulfills his promise Black and Green Supporters are in for a treat.
Name:Luke Borrelli Squad Number: 11 Position: Midfielder / Forward Forward Luke Borrelli, who signed for the Club in June 2016, is a product of Afan Lido's academy and a Boys Clubs of Wales International. He has represented Afan Lido, Pontardawe, Port Talbot and Haverfordwest, where he shone last season finding the net 8 times. Borrelli’s determination to succeed coupled with his lauded finishing skills and two-footedness sees Aberystwyth’s attacking arsenal significantly boosted. The former Bluebird arrives at Park Avenue with a sterling reputation. Of course, he will be familiar to the Green Army having found the net three times against the Seasiders in an impressive campaign last time around. Having begun his career at Afan Lido, the 25 year old has played at Welsh Premier League level for both Haverfordwest County and Port Talbot Town and has made a total of 75 WPL appearances, scoring 18 goals.

Name: Ryan Wade Squad Number: 14 Position: Midfielder
Ryan, known as "Keyo," became one of the most admired players in the League during four seasons at Airbus which coincided with the Broughton side's peak in domestic football terms, and he represented them six times in the UEFA Europa League between 2013-5.
Wade's stunning wingplay and dazzling runs from deep became a trademark and earned him Sgorio's Goal of the Month Award for February 2015 (view here), and a nomination in September 2012 (view here).
29 year old Ryan played in the English system prior to joining Airbus for Skelmersdale United, Vauxhall Motors, Burscough, Runcorn, Prescot Cables and Northwich Victoria. After leaving the Airfield Ryan spent last season with Bala Town, and represented them in this season's Europa League before making the switch to Park Avenue.
Ryan has made a total of 129 WPL appearances, scoring 25 goals over five hugely successful seasons and he is looking forward to more success with the Black and Greens.
Name: Kurt Sherlock Squad Number: 15 Position: Forward
Kurt, 26, made 5 appearances for the Evo-Stick side earlier in the season, scoring 4 goals and earning a Man of the Match nomination against Bamber Bridge in the process. Liverpudlian Sherlock has previously played for Formby, Bootle, Runcorn Linnets, Stalybridge Celtic and Marine FC.
Kurt will wear number 15 in the Aber Town squad. Everyone at the Club welcomes him on board and we look forward to many goals in Black and Green.
Name:Mathew Jones Squad Number: 17 Position: Midfielder Local boy Mathew Jones joined the Club in August 2017. 18 year old Mathew attended Comins Coach and Penglais Schools and is the son of Richie "Gas" Jones who played for Town's Reserve side for years and is a loyal supporter of the Black and Greens. He was a key member of Shrewsbury Town's Youth Team which enjoyed a good FA Youth Cup run last season reaching the fourth round before being knocked out by Premier League side Sunderland, and joined Aber on his release from the Shrews this summer. Jones made a keen impression in pre-season 2017 with some full blooded performances in Central Midfield and was rewarded with squad number 17.
Name: Ashley Young Squad Number : 18 Position : Midfielder
Ashley joined the club in the summer of 2017 - linking up with former manager Nev Powell at Bangor City, having also previously played for Rhyl in the Welsh Premier League. Ashley captained the side for the second half of the season after moving into the central defensive position, and scored four goals during the 2017/18 season.
Name: Damien Allen Squad Number: 19 Position: Midfield
One of the most highly respected and prized midfielders in the Welsh Premier League, Damien originally signed for Nev Powell's Bangor City seven seasons ago and went on to become Club Captain, making 151 appearances for the Citizens and scoring 11 goals in the process. As a central midfielder he is known for making the central area of the park his own, via his uncanny ability to keep the ball when necessary, before dictating play with a killer pass at the right moment.
Cheadle-born Damian came through Stockport County's Youth system and made 57 League appearances for the Hatters before a loan spell at Royal Antwerp. He then played 20 times for Morecambe before coming to Bangor via Halifax, Bury and Colwyn Bay.
Name:Jack Rimmer Squad Number: 20 Position: Midfielder Aberystwyth Town FC Academy product Jack Rimmer joined the first team squad for 2015/16, and made an impression in the 9 WPL appearances he amassed in his debut season. The highpoint was probably a stunning winning goal scored at Haverfordwest from out near the touchline on Boxing Day 2015. Jack is a Sixth Former at Ysgol Gyfun Penweddig and has an impeccable sporting background, having been invited to join Liverpool's Academy at age 10, Birmingham City's Academy at 11, and having trials at Stoke City at 14. Jack represented Central Wales in the Cymru Cup of 2013 and the Welsh National/Regional Development squads in 2012 and 2013. He has also played for Penweddig and Ceredigion Schools throughout his school years, and played for Central Wales Boys in 2014 and again in 2015 where Jack captained the side. Jack, a Centre Back or Midfielder by trade, had been with Bow Street since 2011 but importantly has also been part of Aberystwyth Town's Academy sides from the Under 12 age group onwards and was in the side that reached the Welsh Final in 2012. Jack spent the first part of the 2016/17 season on loan at Penrhyncoch in search of first team football, amassing 8 apps for the Cymru Alliance side.
Name:Adam Walters Squad Number: 21 Position: Goalkeeper Aberystwyth Town signed goalkeeper Adam Walters from Aberystwyth University in January 2018. Walters has previously been with York City, Selby Town, Barmouth & Dyffryn and the University side, and he will wear squad number 21.
Name: Harri Horwood Squad Number: 22 Position: Forward
Harri was promoted to the first team squad for the 2017/18 season after coming through the ranks of the club's academy. He's a Wales u18's Academy Squad representative and scored the winning goal for his country during the John Coughlin Memorial Cup against the Republic of Ireland in February 2018
Name: John McKenna Squad Number : 23 Position: Defender
John joined the club in the summer of 2017, but started his career at The New Saints through the academy and was part of the 2009/10 squad when they won the Welsh Premier League. He made 55 appearances for the Saints before moving to Newtown, Colwyn Bay, Warrington, Rhyl and Australia. McKenna has made 81 WPL appearances scoring seven goals.
Name:Joe Phillips Squad Number: 27 Position: Midfielder 22 year old winger Joe Phillips signed for Aberystwyth Town in July 2017. He played for the same Stourport Swifts side as Ryan Wollacott, for whom he scored 16 goals from 46 appearances in 2016/7. Joe made some prominent contributions to Town's pre-season of 2017, not least when he scored a terrific goal with a low drive against Hull City Under 23s in August, and his attacking flair is expected to thrill Black and Green supporters further in 2017/8.

Name: Christian Langos Position: Midfielder
Congolese attacker Christian Langos is a familiar name to those in the Welsh Premier League as he has featured for both Bangor and Rhyl two seasons ago. Christian started with Marine before moving to Bangor for the 2015/16 where he would link up with then manager Neville Powell. He then moved Rhyl for the remainder of the 2016/2017 season after falling out of favour at Nantporth, where he experienced relegation with the Lilywhites. Langos has made 47 WPL appearances in his career and has earned a permanent contract at Aber after impressing the management staff at Park Avenue during pre-season.
Name: Joe Culshaw Position: Defender
Joe grew up playing for Wrexham as a youth player. His performances at youth level earned him a move to Football League side Morecambe where he impressed and claimed the U18 Player of the Year award. As well as featuring for Aberystwyth and Bangor, Culshaw has also played for the Cefn Druids and Flint Town United in the lower divisions. Overall, he has accumalated over 40 appearances in the Welsh Premier League
Name: Cledan Davies Squad Number: 3 Position: Defender Tregaron born Cledan returned to the club in June 2012 after a season away. Signed in 2009 from Tregaron Turfs after impressing then Aberystwyth Town boss Brian Coyne, left footed Cledan, happy at left back or as a left winger, became an important part of the team during his first season at the club. After being out with an ankle injury for most of the 2010/11 season, and finding his first team chances limited, Cledan spent time on loan at Penrhyncoch before signing for Tomi Morgan at Carmarthen in 2011. After starting most games and showing his worth at Carmarthen, Tomi wasted no time in bringing Cledan back to his local Welsh Premier team for the new season, and in his first season back, won Supporters' Player of the Year. Davies was ever present in 2013/4 and was an integral part of the side which reached the Welsh Cup Final. In 2014/5 he represented the Black and Greens in the UEFA Europa League, and achieved a Top Four finish with Ian Hughes' men. Cledan is known for his swashbuckling attacking runs down the left flank, pinpoint crosses and occasional brilliant strikes, however one of his most memorable contributions last season was a 45 minute cameo in goal in October 2014, when he produced one astonishing left handed save in the rain to keep a clean sheet at home to Newtown. Now aged 25, Cledan has made 183 WPL appearances, scoring 11 goals along the way.
Cledan went on loan to Caersws FC in September, and returned in November 2016.
Name: Craig Rogers Position: Defender
Rogers joined the club after a spell playing with Norwegian Club Bergsoy-Idrettslag, and will provide cover following the departures of Jonny Spittle to Connah’s Quay and John McKenna to New Zealand. Chester-born Rogers, who at 6 foot 3 inches will dominate any defence, and has played 17 matches for the Norwegian side this season, scoring twice and making no fewer than 10 assists. He was previously with Warrington Town during their famous FA Cup run of 2014, and has also represented Denbigh Town, Icelandic side Dalvik/Reynir, and was with Jacksonville United while studying at Oral Roberts University in America.
