Here is the practical information you need for the next girls' camp
GIRLS’ FOOTBALL CAMP DATE: Wednesday 3rd January TIME: 9am-12 noon (younger group), 9am-3pm (older group) LOCATION: Park Avenue, Aberystwyth COACHES: tbc (coach in charge), tbc, tbc COST: £12.50 for half-day, £25 for whole day
BOOKING: We are asking if possible that the payment for the full day is made prior to the camp via bank transfer. Our bank account details are as follows: ABERYSTWYTH TOWN FOOTBALL CLUB LTD LADIES / 20-18-41 / 73648567. Please let us know when payment has been made. If plans change and you cannot make it, full refunds or credit towards another camp can be given up to 48h before the camp date. After this period, a 50% refund or credit towards another camp will be given. FURTHER INFO: For the camp itself, they will need a packed lunch/snacks and plenty of fluids and waterproof clothing depending on the weather. If they have boots and shin pads then please bring them, if not trainers will be fine.
CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT: Each parent/carer to sign girl in with coach in charge, and to sign girl out at the end of the session. No girl should leave the stadium without their parent/carer. Parents/carers are asked to arrive five minutes before the end of the session to ensure prompt sign-out. Coaches will be provided with a list of booked attendees, their parent/carer’s contact details, and their payment status the day before the camp. CLUB SAFEGUARDING POLICY: See below.
Aberystwyth Town Women's popular and award-winning girls' football camps have received a boost - thanks to a former Aberystwyth University student. Daniel Head - who studied criminology in the town between 2009 and 2012 - is now managing director of Headway Food Service, who will be the camps' partner for the next year.
