Aberystwyth Town can confirm two departures from the club, as youngster Joe Saunders joins Lampeter Town and forward Raul Correia departs for Stalybridge Celtic of the Northern Premier League.
18-year-old Joe has been a regular face around the first team since last season while featuring for our U19 squad. He has made one first team appearance from the bench in Town's final game of the 2020/21 season away at Newtown's Latham Park. Joe is set to make his debut in Black and White this Saturday - pob lwc, Joe! Forward Raul Correia leaves the club to join Stalybridge Celtic after joining the Black and Greens in the Summer transfer window. The 27-year-old joined Town following a spell with Bala Town, making 16 appearances since his August signing, finding the net once against Aber Valley FC in the Welsh Cup. The club would like to thank Raul and wish him all the very best going forward! In other squad news, Aberystwyth University Scholarship holder Kieran Booker joins the first team squad alongside official promotions for Jamie Jones and Cameron Allen. The National League Board also agreed that all three Leagues will now be able to use five substitutes in all League matches with immediate effect.
