This figure was hugely boosted by the 883 who attended Tuesday night’s win over Haverfordwest, which itself was Park Avenue’s biggest league crowd since 1168 turned up to see the 3G facility opened in October 2016.
Park Avenue also saw crowds of 523 for the Welsh Cup tie versus Aber Valley in September, 428 versus Cefn Druids at the end of January and 401 for the season opener versus Barry Town in August. With three Cup ties added, 5350 people have watched 14 games to date at the home of the Seasiders.
It appears that the significant local representation in Antonio Corbisiero’s matchday squad has helped, as has the Black and Greens’ recent upturn in fortunes, and the team and Management Staff will be hoping that the Green Army assemble again in very large numbers this Friday evening for the huge return match at Bridge Meadow, away to Haverfordwest County (KO 7.45pm).
Thank for your wonderful support!
