Dafabet Welsh Premier League
Saturday 20th February (ko 2.30pm) Haverfordwest County v Aberystwyth Town After two 1-0 wins in a row Aberystwyth Town aim to extend their love affair with the Dafabet Welsh Premier League Play Off Conference with a positive result away at Conygar Bridge Meadow, Haverfordwest on Saturday afternoon, knowing that a win would bring them three consecutive wins for the first time this season. Victories over Port Talbot Town and Rhyl were attained mostly through defensive solidity, hard graft and a couple of moments of inspiration which have given the Black and Greens belief that a seventh placed finish is still a realistic aspiration for Interim Manager Wyn Thomas and his players. However overconfidence will not be an issue on Saturday, as the Pembrokeshire Bluebirds have already beaten Aber three times out of four this season, Town's one win coming on Boxing Day in Haverfordwest, when Jack Rimmer's extravagant cross turned into a match winner. Rimmer himself is likely to be unavailable for selection this weekend, having been selected for Wales' Semi Pro Under 18s squad, and Luke Sherbon is still undoing treatment for a groin strain. With a best run of the season beckoning Aber's Coach will be full of positivity on Saturday and it leaves Park Avenue at 11.30am. A return trip to Haverfordwest will cost a mere £10 for Adults and £5 Concessions. Come along and bring your Good Vibes with you! Comments are closed.
