Dafabet Welsh Premier League
Saturday 3rd September (ko 2.30pm) Bangor City v Aberystwyth Town Aberystwyth Town don't have much time to lick their wounds after last night's disappointing defeat at Rhyl, as they return to the North Wales Coast for the fourth game in a row to face Bangor City at Nantporth Stadium on Saturday (ko 2.30pm). Town Manager Matthew Bishop and his Players will probably for once be glad of a second game in three days as an early opportunity to get Wednesday's result out of the system. Aber's Squad did see some movement on Transfer Deadline Week with Jack Rimmer going out on loan to Penrhyncoch, and Cledan Davies loaned to Caersws. However the sixteen players named in Tuesday's squad are once again fit and ready to go again come Saturday afternoon. Bangor City under the stewardship of Andy Legg have strarted the season well with three wins out of four taking them to second in the Dafabet WPL table as things stand. Right winger Henry Jones from Aberaeron, brother of Aber's Tom is one of a number of new signings to make positive impressions, having joined from Swansea City, and the Black and Greens will have to play well to emulate last Autumn's 3-2 win at Nantporth. The Club were well supported on Wednesday night and we would like to thank all our travelling supporters for their terrific commitment. The Coach leaves Park Avenue at 9.45am on Saturday and a return trip will remain at £10 for Adults and £5 Concessions. Fingers crossed for a Loverly Day! Comments are closed.
