 Everyone at Aberystwyth Town FC sends their best wishes to Cardiff Met Ladies player Grace Corne, who suffered a nasty neck injury at Park Avenue yesterday afternoon.
The injury was so severe that the Welsh Premier Womens League Cup match against Aber Town Ladies had to be abandoned, but we are delighted to hear that Grace was released from Bronglais Hospital overnight and is back at home recuperating. The Club would also like to thank Aber Town Ladies Team Player and Physio Ffiona Evans and Cardiff Met's Sports Therapist Chelsie-Jane Mason, whose prompt attention helped prevent Grace's injury turning into something worse. A special mention as well to our very own John Waters and Nathan Perkins who both remained at the club hours after the game had finished to provide support.
