 Pre Season Friendly
Friday 2nd August (ko 7.30pm) Aberystwyth Town v Haverfordwest County First Team Football returns to Park Avenue on Friday night after a break of almost three weeks, as the Black and Greens host neighbours JD Cymru (South) side Haverfordwest County in their final pre season friendly match of 2019. Since their last outing at Park Ave, a 2-2 draw at home to Llantwit Major, Aber have twice crossed the border to face difficult opponents, losing to Gloucester City (4-0) and 3-1 to a Crewe Alex XI last Saturday morning in a behind closed doors match, when Marc Williams' goal was the one consolation. A number of trialists have played in these matches and Luke Boundford has been formally added to the Squad for 2019/20, with more signings certain to follow. County for their part have a new look squad themselves and will provide an excellent final test for Matthew Bishop's men ahead of their Season Opener in the Rhondda on Saturday 10th August, away to Cambrian & Clydach BGC in the Nathaniel MG Cup Second Round (ko 2.30pm).
