Goliau hanner cyntaf gan treialydd, John Owen a Billy Kirkman oedd yn ddigon i hawlio buddugoliaeth i Aber o 3-0 i ffwrdd i arweinwyr JD Cymru’r Gogledd Airbus UK Brychdyn mewn gem gyfeillgar hanner tymor neithiwr. Mesitri corn oedd yr ymwelwyr yn yr hanner cyntaf ac er i’r tim cartref gweld mwy o’r bel yn yr ail hanner, daliodd y Gwyrdd a’r Duon ati i hawlio canlyniad swmpus.

First half goals from a trialist, John Owen and Billy Kirkman earned Aber a  3-0 win away to JD Cymru North leaders Airbus UK Broughton last night in a mid season friendly. Town dominated the first half an although the hosts had more of the game in the second half, the Black and Greens held firm for an impressive result.

Manager Anthony Williams told atfc.org.uk:
“It was a really good performance last night, I’m pleased not just with the result but with the way we played, especially in the first half. We tried some different shapes, to adapt to the second phase of the season and made a few positional changes.

It was a pleasing run out, most of the senior players got at least 45 and some had 90 minutes play. Also a couple of youngsters in Tom Mason and Rhys Jenkins played a part in the game and both played really well, so it’s pleasing that our squad has a bit of depth. It was a good, professional performance and the boys will be full of confidence going into phase two next week”.

Phase two begins for the Black and Greens with two home matches, and Haverfordwest County will be first to visit Park Avenue this Friday with an 8pm kick off. We have missed you!
