Aberystwyth Town FC are delighted to learn that Park Avenue is currently the best attended ground in the Welsh Premier League this season, with an average crowd of 567 since it reopened to the public in October.
This puts Park Avenue ahead of Bangor City's Nantporth (ave 547) and Rhyl's Belle Vue (411), and means that for the first time ever Aber can make a claim to be the best supported Club in the Dafabet WPL.
Park Avenue's Bumper Attendances to date have been:
October 14th Rhyl 1168
October 23rd Llandudno 548
October 29th Airbus 352
November 5th Gap Connah's Quay 235
November 25th Bala Town 530
Aberystwyth Town's Marketing Manager Tom Bates said: "Our Marketing Team have been doing some excellent work to promote the Matches but huge credit must go to our fantastic supporters, who have turned out in their hundreds to support the Club and the new 3G Development this Autumn. As we enter a crucial stage of the season we want our fans to realise that they can make a huge contribution to a successful season by turning up to cheer on the Black and Greens over the Christmas and New Year period."
