 Big hearted Aberystwyth Town supporters showed their generous side last night, donating £274.23 to the DEC’s Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal in a bucket collection made prior to kick off in the JD Cymru Premier match at home to Haverfordwest County. Club Chaplain Jon Butler instigated the appeal with the help of Supporter Liaison Officer Tomos Roberts and he said: “A huge thank you to all who gave to the DEC Appeal before the game at Park Avenue, and to those who have given online. Being a community Club it was very encouraging to see so many Aberystwyth Town supporters giving to support the humanitarian response to help those fleeing and displaced from their own communities in Ukraine. We continue to hold the people of Ukraine in our prayers, taking the opportunities we can to help and make a difference.
