Friday 18th May (ko 7.30pm) Central Wales FA Youth Cup Final (at Llandidloes Town FC) Aberystwyth Town Under 19s v Rhayader Town Saturday 19th May (ko 3.30pm) SW Welsh Womens League Aberystwyth Town Ladies v Cascade YC Sunday 20th May (ko 2pm) SW Welsh Womens League Aberystwyth Town Ladies v Llangyfelach Aberystwyth Town's Under 19s and Ladies sides are chasing glory this weekend on different fronts. This evening Bari Morgan's Wonder Under 19s, Champions of Wales, aim to end their season on a high by adding the Central Wales FA Youth Cup Final Trophy to their 2017/8 haul. A win over Rhayader Town at Llanidloes would provide the perfect ending to a remarkable season which saw the side top the South Wales Division of the Welsh Premier Development League, before winning the National Final last week by beating TNS at Newtown by 1-0. Aber Town Ladies meanwhile are still chasing an immediate return to the Welsh Premier League. Ray Hughes' side are unbeaten all season in the League, and lie seven points behind table topping Briton Ferry Athletic. This means that should Briton Ferry fail to beat Barry Town Ladies away in their final match on Sunday then three wins from their final three games will guarantee the title and promotion for the Black and Greens. Two of the three games take place this weekend at Park Avenue, with Cascade and Llangyfelach the visitors on Saturday and Sunday respectively, before the Ladies complete their season by hosting Caerphilly Castle next weekend. Atfc.org.uk wishes both teams all the best this weekend and we hope that the Black and Greens' superb supporters will turn out in force to cheer on both sides. Comments are closed.
