 Aberystwyth Town are delighted to announce the signing of commanding central defender John Shaw from Runcorn Town. Shaw, who stands at 6 foot 3 feet tall, is a dominating, no-nonsense defender who's had spells at EvoStick League sides Marine, Droylsden and Warrington Town.
John played a total of 221 times for EvoStick Northern Premier side Marine FC between 2009 and 2014, scoring 9 goals in the process and picking up their player of the year award in 2011. He then went on to join Witton Albion before signing for Staybridge Celtic in July, 2015 where he made 34 appearances. Everyone at the club would like to wish John a warm welcome to Park Avenue, and are delighted that he will be available for Saturday's JD Welsh Cup Fourth Round tie against Cardiff Met, having received International Clearance this afternoon.
