 Aberystwyth Town are delighted to announce the signing of defender David Thompson from Bangor City.
28 year old Liverpudlian Thompson is an experienced left footed defender known for his buccaneering forward runs, and he was famously part of Bala Town’s Welsh Cup Winning side of 2017. In the Welsh system David has also played for Rhyl, Llandudno and most recently Bangor City for whom he signed in the summer. His know how at Welsh Premier level will be a boost to Town’s defensive credentials in 2020. Less well known is that David is also a talented musician and singer who performed an accomplished solo set at the Welsh Premier League AGM in June 2017. Everyone at Park Avenue welcomes David to Aberystwyth Town – and he will go straight into the Squad for this evening’s match at Caernarfon Town, wearing number 3. Comments are closed.
