 Aberystwyth Town FC are delighted to confirm that the FAW's First Instance Body has awarded the Club the UEFA and Domestic Licences required to compete in the UEFA Europa and Dafabet Welsh Premier Leagues for 2017/8.
Club Licensing Officer Thomas Crockett said: "These licences are a great achievement for any volunteer-run Football Club, and they accredit the thousands of hours of unpaid work put into administering our Club each year." "I'd like to place on record my thanks to a few people who once again have put in a lot of the behind the scenes work necessary to achieve these licences, namely Club Chairman Tony Bates, Vice Chairman David "Dai Caprice" Evans, Academy Secretary Russell Hughes-Pickering and Doctor Richard Edwards." The Club therefore retains its unique and proud record of achieving both licences at the first attempt on every single occasion since the FAW introduced the Licensing process in 2004/5.
