Aberystwyth Town FC send best wishes for the future to two Players who have left Park Avenue this week.
Midfielder Joe Phillips has moved back to Midlands-based Alvechurch, while Ryan Edwards has been released to sign for another Welsh Premier Club before the end of the transfer window.
Phillips has scored 8 goals in 72 appearances over two spells at Park Avenue, and appeared for the Black and Greens in the Welsh Cup Final of 2018, and his most memorable moment was surely the perfect hat trick he scored at home to Connah's Quay in January 2018. The Club also send best wishes to Joe's father Mark who has been a loyal supporter of the Black and Greens over the past few seasons.
Ryan has made 47 appearances for Aber in midfield over two seasons, scoring once - a memorable strike at Airbus UK Broughton in November last year. He will be remembered for his skilful bursts from midfield and the unique dance skills he displayed after Aber's win at Cardiff Met in 2018!
The Club thanks both Players for their services and wishes them all the best for the future.
