 Aberystwyth Town will host Welsh League side Goytre United in the First Round of the 2015/6 Word Cup, following the draw which took place at Saturday's Welsh Premier League AGM.
Port Talbot-based Goytre United, not to be confused with their Gwent rivals Goytre, earned their place in the Word Cup with a fourth placed finish in last year's Welsh League Division One, and are managed by ex-Neath stalwart Andy Hill. Aberystwyth Town were intrigued to learn that Penrhyncoch have recieved a wildcard entry to the Cup, and will Newtown in the same round. The matches, to be decided on the night, will take place on September 7th/8th. Comments are closed.
