 Aberystwyth Town are delighted to announce the loan signing of striker Blake Davies from Forest Green Rovers.
The centre forward joins the Black and Greens with an excellent goal scoring record at youth level that helped him catch the eye of Forest Green, who handed him his first professional contract this summer. The 18 year old joins the Seasiders from the Green Devils following a move from Bristol Rovers in the summer where he completed a two year scholarship in the Pirates’ Under 18’s set up. He has previous experience in the Evo-Stik Southern Premier League with Frome Town and was previously a member of the youth set up at Cardiff City. Davies has also earned recognition at international level, representing Wales at Under 17’s level and has recently made the jump up to the Under 19 age bracket. Blake has received international clearance to play at Airbus tomorrow, and Aberystwyth Town FC would like to thank Forest Green Secretary James Mooney, and our friends at the Registration Departments of the FA and the FAW for their support in concluding this matter within a very short timeframe.
