Dafabet Welsh Premier League Saturday 24th September (ko 5.15pm) Cardiff Met v Aberystwyth Town Aberystwyth Town's Players, Officials and Supporters are still walking on air after Tuesday night's astonishing five goal hammering of Carmarthen Town, and those of a Black and Green persuasion are looking forward to an opportunity to demonstrate their prowess in front of a live TV audience at Cardiff Met this Saturday evening. Geoff Kellaway's hat trick will of course take all the attention from Tuesday night's win, but equally satisfying to Manager Matthew Bishop will have been a defensive solidity and team ethic which saw the Players fight for each other all over the pitch, and joyous celebrations between the Players and Supporters demonstrating a remarkable unity after a tough run of results. Luke Borrelli will miss out having seen red at Waundew but other than that Bishop has a full squad to choose from. Manager Matthew Bishop told Aber Town's Youtube Channel on Tuesday night: "I'm so proud of the Players for the Performance, Commitment and Desire they showed. They were outstanding. We've got to kick on now and make sure it's not just a one off." Watch the full interview here. Cardiff Met come into the game off the back of two huge wins, at Llandudno and at home to Newtown as the Students finally turn good performances into results. Ex-Black and Greens in the Met's roster include Christian Edwards, who played 89 games for the Club at Centre Back before moving on to the Management Team between 2009-11. Met's Central defensive anchor Emlyn Lewis from Pennant was a mainstay of Town's Under 19s side and Penrhyncoch before moving to Cardiff to study, and Aber Town Club Sponsor and ex-Keeper Richard Morgan (142 appearances) is now Goalkeeping Coach at Cyncoed. It's certain to be an engrossing match on the 3G surface at Cyncoed and kick off will be at 5.15pm to facilitate live TV Coverage of Sgorio. A supporters Minibus will leave Park Avenue at 12.45pm, costing just £10 return, and for those wishing to travel independently directions to the Cyncoed Campus are as follows: Cardiff Metropolitan University, Cyncoed Campus, Cyncoed Road, CF23 6XD. To find the Campus Town Supporters are advised to enter Cardiff via Junction 32 of the M4 and proceed down the A470 to the Gabalfa Flyover before turning left onto the A48 in the direction of Newport. Coming off the A48 at the next junction, take the first exit and proceed across the next roundabout, and the Campus will appear on your left in roughly a mile.
