 Aberystwyth Town FC enjoyed a fantastic Bank Holiday weekend as their Ladies and Under 19s sides both bagged Trophies with Central Wales Cup Final victories.
On Sunday afternoon Aberystwyth Town Ladies travelled to Newtown to take on Llanfyllin in the Central Wales FA Ladies Cup Final, bidding to win the trophy for the third successive season - and this they did in emphatic fashion, winning by five goals to one (see photo, left). Then yesterday Emyr Jones' Under 19s side carried the Central Wales FA Youth Cup home from Rhayader with a closely fought 1-0 win over Llanidloes Town, thanks to an 84th minute strike from highly rated Daf Carruthers.
