 Aberystwyth Town FC are delighted to announce the signing of 28 year old forward Lewis Coyle, to bolster Manager Matthew Bishop's striking options for 2016/7.
Ormskirk based Lewis signs from Evo-Stick Northern Premier League outfit Prescot Cables having previously played for Leeds United, Chester City, Burscough, St Helens Town (see photo, left) and Droylesden. After coming on as a sub at Caersws and Caernarfon, he has started up front in Aber's last two pre season friendlies, and scored Town's opener at Porthmadog, with an instinctive near post finish to a Geoff Kellaway cross. The imposing Coyle has certainly made an impression thus far with his arial prowess and ability to hold the ball up, and everyone at Park Avenue looks forward to watching him continue his progress with Aberystwyth Town this season.
