 Aberystwyth Town have bolstered their Football Management Team with the appointment of Tony Pennock as Assistant Manager with immediate effect.
The Club were informed on Wednesday afternoon that Wayne Jones' qualification as an A Licence candidate had expired and acted quickly to enlist Tony, whose Pro Licence qualification ensures that the Black and Greens conform with FAW Licensing criteria, and whose recent experience as First Team Coach for Premier League Club Hull City makes him a stand out appointment. Since retiring from a distinguished goalkeeping career Tony has a wealth of football experience most recently as First Team Coach for Premier League Hull City, a post he held until January 2017. He had previously managed their Football Academy, worked with Swansea City and has also managed Port Talbot Town and the Wales Semi Pro side back in 2007. Everyone at Aberystwyth Town welcomes Tony to the Club and looks forward to his debut in the Technical Area at Llandudno on Sunday. Comments are closed.
