Aberystwyth Town FC are delighted to confirm that a mere two weeks into pre-season, five more of last season’s squad have already committed to remain at Park Avenue next season. Local heroes Geoff Kellaway and Mathew Jones will return in July, as will defenders Wes Baynes and Ryan Wollacott. Lee Jenkins also remains on contract meaning that already seven of last season’s Squad have agreed deals to represent the Club again in 2019/20. Kellaway was on superb form since Christmas and ended up as the Club’s top scorer on 9 goals, Baynes contributing 4 from right back, with Wollacott notching three, and Jenkins one – the famous winner against TNS in November. Wollacott made 31 starts and played the most football of any Town player last season, a grand total of 2761 minutes! Baynes and Jones made 30 appearances each or 2700 minutes, while Kellaway started 19 games with 11 sub appearances and Jenkins started 11 games with 5 sub appearances. Aberystwyth Town are delighted to retain all five players for next season and look forward to watching them again in 2019/20.      Comments are closed.
