Aberystwyth Town FC are delighted to confirm that to celebrate the Black and Greens’ 1000th Cymru Premier match on Tuesday evening, supporters will be admitted for free.
The Seasiders were founder members of the League of Wales in August 1992, and become the first Club to reach this prestigious milestone when they welcome Haverfordwest County to Park Avenue this week. In addition to free entry, we can also announce that courtesy of our Club Sponsors Cambrian Tyres, supporters arriving before 7.15pm will be allowed one free drink in the John Charles Lounge, and Ruth’s Kitchen will be offering 150 free hot dogs (first come first served). The gates for spectators will open at 6.30pm, and the match kicks off at 8pm. Finally in lieu of the free entry the Club will be coordinating a bucket collection for Bronglais Hospital’s Chemotherapy Appeal on Tuesday evening. A slate plaque commemorating the achievement of 1000 matches, kindly commissioned by the Football Association of Wales, will be unveiled in the John Charles Lounge prior to the match.
