After a thrilling and exciting 2-2 draw at home to Port Talbot on Friday night, Aberystwyth Town Manager Ian Hughes was keen to pay full tribute to the superb Vocal Support provided to the team by Aber's supporters on Friday night. "We shouldn't underestimate the importance the crowd played. They were excellent and it's the best I've heard Park Avenue this season. the Dias Stand was bouncing! It was a great advert for the Welsh Premier League and the atmosphere was great. Park Avenue on a Friday night is something special and no other Club can create that atmosphere." Looking forward Hughes was keen to enlist that vocal support for Aber's crucial two remaining home WPL games against Airbus on Sunday 29th March and Bala on Friday 17th April. "We're going to need the same excellent support when Airbus and Bala come to Park Avenue as we saw tonight, and hopefully we'll be there or thereabouts at the end of the season." Looking back at the game Hughes said: "It was a good game, the Players showed excellent spirit and determination to come back from two down. It looked like only one team was going to win it in the second half but unfortunately we couldn't quite get that winning goal." After a super second half performance the Black and Greens can now look forward with confidence to Saturday's game at Newtown. Stay close to atfc.org.uk for updates throughout the week.
